If you restore whatsapp from MIUI Backup you need to:
1)delete whatsapp
2)delete whatsapp folder in storage
3)Install whatsapp from Market
4)Give it permissions to autostart and background activity

(it workes for me to receive push notifications from whatsapp and Mymail )

I have installed the 6.6.7 and always works fine.
I would like to ask a question. If I will install the 6.6.8, will I lost some app or system settings? For instance, I have uninstalled some system's app (Browser), so if I'll install this upgrade could I have some trouble?

IMHO 6.6.8 is better than previous alphas.. Mi4 LTE..

seems to me it eats more ram on Mi4, also battery drains more ... in short it is alpha rom, has bugs as expected.

I doubt that an Alpha version, is better than a stable. But I did not try it, I have another phone

agree, on MIUI8 many things do not work:
contacts FC, aliexpress cannot connect, huge battery drain with bluetooth, memory usage is higher.
Howerver sound issue has gone on cancro
