MIUI Messaging app view multiple pics

I was on 11.25 until this morning (12.2 now). Before I updated when I received an mms with multiple pics in it, I could tap the message and it would give me a list of the pics vertically. I could then tap on each pic to view it individually, I could then pinch to zoom in/out. Now I cannot seem to get that to work. Is there a hidden setting I am missing somewhere?
