Where??? It's not there in the SGS II....

In my Nexus S and other devices I think. SGS2 and SGS3 (?) doesnt have CRT off anim.

But it can be turned on in bools.xml decompiling framework-res. You can find the fix over the XDA.

i got slight problem with probably camera, whenever after device restart it takes awhile for camera to run, media scanning or something, after that i get several thumbnail cache files saved in DCIM/thumbnais folder while singe file weights ~2gb. i got ~25 pictures saced, 0 video, ~50wallpapers. whenever i delete it media scanner runs again

In MIUI v2.8.17; i have flashed it 2 times but it doesn't appear

Set Window animation scale at minimum 1x - then it will work.

currently running 2.8.17 and its great abut i wanted to try is update...
i copied the file over to my SD, booted into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik and do install install the zip file...
2.8.24 either fails to install or if i do a factory reset it will install but get stuck on the sony logo splash screen?
any idea what i could be doing wrong?
or tell me noob friendly steps on how to update your device?

Your download might be corrupted. Try downloading again, then push the file to your SD while in recovery. Then reflash the rom.
