Hi all!
I have a bug on my device.
Installed today latest rom - 2.8.24, on my evo 3d gsm, everything worked ok, untill i came home. My wifi doesnt work if ssid broadcast is off. I have to hide it, dont ask why. If i turn on ssid broadcast, wi fi works.
Can you tell me where the bug in rom is? In last 5 rom's on my mobile phone, i didn't have this issue.
Tnx in advance.

How come the MIUI Rom for the HTC One X is still based on 4.0.3 while the SGS3 is on 4.0.4??
And also, is there a way to get rid of the stupid carrier label in the top left corner? I can't seem to find a way.
If these questions have been asked before, I sincerely apologize.
Thanks ahead guys. By the way, I LOVE this Rom. I only wanted to try it out for a few days but now I don't want to switch back :)

go to settings -> full settings -> mobile networks -> "data enabled" should be enabled ;)

can 't reproduce that icon/folder thing.... maybe your icon theme sucks

Hello , guys . I'm commin' back with a problem. My phone is a HTC desire s. Last working fully working update for me was 2.7.13. After that in all updates i don't have a 3G connection. The rest is fully functional. Got any idea ? Maybe is a feature that turn data on/off and i didn't find it ? I did a clean install, fix permissions . Please tell me what to do ? I don't see any solution. Is a software bug ? With any other rom is working (has other issues rom related but data is working) . The roms that are makeing me this problem are 2.8.3 , 2.8.10, 2.8.17 and this one 2.8.24. What have this roms in common that can cause this issue ?
Thx in advance for your help.
Maybe if i use a different kernel ? just guessing
Other bug that i noticed , the icons/folders start missing from the screen and appear if i touch the screen in that particulate zone. (facebook icon for ex is missing but if i touch the screen in that area the icon appear. Is an incompatibility of this rom with desire S ?

I am having issues with the GPS, it seems it can't stand still.
Whenever I use the navigation or Edomondo it just keeps messing up, I need to be in movement for it to work.
And when I say movement then I mean about 50km/h, not the average run speed.

Operator name is still wrong on my phone after I updated, any thoughts around this?

I recently upgraded my phone from stock Telstra GB to ICS 4.03. I tried flashing miuiandroid and failed. Getting the status 7 error and something about : Ro.product.device=”GT-I9100” || ro.product.device || “GT-I9100” Ro.product.device || ” galaxyS2” or ro.product.device = “galaxyS2”.

My device is GT-9100T and it looks like the miuiandroid rom is not checking for this model. Any suggestion how I could fix this as I believe all the 9100 series models can all use this ROM.

I don't think they can. The I9100T from what I know is different "partition wise" than the I9100.

Miuiandroid was installing fine before the upgrade. Once upgraded to ICS, it failed. This is strange as it is the same phone. Unless before the upgrade, the device is " GT-I9100" and once upgraded to ICS, it is now called " GT-I9100T". However I have restored an old backup to the upgraded phone and it works fine so it proves that the miuiandroid ROM is compatible with both versions.

I just cannot flash currently as it cannot get passed the check. So there is no way to install a miui ROM on my GT-I9100T?

If you open that updater-script you can remove that check, but I don't advise it and won't be sorry if something bad happens.

Nothong wrong can happen. Bootloader is not touched so in worst case phone will not boot but you can restore back whenever you want...

Well depends. Look at the recovery mount partitions and system mount partitions. One partitiion on one phone might mount to like the Radio partition / modem on another.

So it actually could brick the phone, thats why the checks are there. If you remove those checks and flash a i9300 ROM on a SGS-I747 you will brick your phone.

Really? I thought that boot partition is somehow isolated. Good to know that:)
