Hello all,

Installation:

Xiaomi devices:

• Install via OTA or Updater app

Other OFFICIAL devices:

• Install via OTA or Download and flash Multilang
• REBOOT
• Install Gapps
• Gapps 4.1.x : HERE
• Gapps 4.2.x : HERE - Only for MIUI v5 Galaxy Nexus (4.2.2)..

Other UNOFFICIAL devices and PORTS:

• Download and flash our current English Only ROM
• then flash the chosen language pack on top of it. (DO NOT WIPE)
• REBOOT
• Install Gapps
• Gapps 4.1.x : HERE
• Gapps 4.2.x : HERE - Only for MIUI v5 Nexus 4 (4.2.2)..

no.. they are installed as other apps from google play..

That is what I thought but I flashed new release, then google apps and all google apps apart google play disappeared. Is that a problem with a ROM or did I do something wrong?

yes, you have to install gapps after OTA (except Xiaomi devices)

I'm running 3.6.28. I installed it by downloading the 3.6.28 release zip file, then installed it via the MIUI Updater app. When I check for updates using the Updater app, even now, it says that I am still on the latest version. Am I doing something wrong here? I've got a Xiaomi Mi2S.

This is obviously not the Xiaomi provided MIUI, but the one provided by MIUIAndroid. OTA should work for the MIUIAndroid release too, right?

This might be very dumb follow-up question, but other than OTA and the additional languages, are there any other differences between multilang and the version I have installed? I find it a bit odd that you guys host the non-multilang zips on miuiandroid, and the multilangs on goo.im.

you cant use custom kernel.... if you do, you have to install it manually..

What is the reason for no email.apk on maguro? I can install the included in Galaxy S3. I can't understand that, same thing for weeks.

We hoped that email will be added by MIUI to original rom but... seems they don't know that. Then we can add Email.apk to maguro roms from next update.
