Miui's Default Font

I read everywhere that Arial is the default font of miui roms. I've also seen a lot of recent screenshots with arial.
So why I do have roboto as the default font, and the font market only lists Chinese fonts?
Am I missing out on something?
I wiped data and cache after installing 6.3.3 on my Mi4 LTE (had KitKat before), but something persisted after the wipe...
