Moving From Global Stable To Xiaomi.eu Rom

Hi all!

Last week I received a new Mi5S for my wife. I didn't think about the waiting time for unlocking, so she wanted to use the pre installed global stable rom (8.0.3) initially. Now I'd like to switch to Xiaomi.eu rom (8.2.2).

How can I move from one rom to the other while having all apps+data maintained? Current options for me are Helium backup / ADB backup via adb-shell / Mi Mover app.

Could anyone please give an advice how to do this easily?

Good friend you have to unlock your phone, than install twrp to enable image backup. Do a backup of your phone, than install the xiaomi.eu rom of your choice, than do a restore of data only from your backup. Good luck, this is the procedure I use to play with all roms available
