(NEW) Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro -- ROM update

Dear all,

I recently bought a Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro in China. As a matter of fact I bought two, the basic version (32 GB + 3GB RAM) and the upgraded version (64 GB + 4GB RAM). It comes with the default chinese ROM and with MIUI V.9.6.12. I'm interested in upgrading to the Global ROM or the XIAOMI.EU rom. I need to have also spanish as a language and be able to install Google PlayStore.

Is there any ROM available for this purpose? What are the steps I should follow to install?

Most probably someone already asked this question before but I did not manage to find it.

Here is the Solution:

Download the RAR File i´ve attched.
Copy the 2 Files into your ADB Folder on your Computer.
Open flash_twrp.bat (Fastboot Mode)
Copy the xiaomi.eu rom on a SD Card
In Recovery make a Factory Reset
Install the Rom
When it´s Finish press restart
After the Boot into Recovery, hold the Power Button for a few Seconds for a Complete Restart.

Is this TWRP exactly for Redmi 6 pro model?

Let me ask some more questions in red color as I'm not proficient on the whole process. Most probably many of you might find it obvious, not my case. I appreciate your time and help. Most probably there are tutorials out there that could guide me.

3. Twrp.bat must be started from PC
4. You can not flash ROM from internal storage, because section DATA will be encrypted and don't available in TWRP. Put ROM to SD Card.
5. After you start the TWRP.bat, the recovery will start in the smartphone.
6. In TWRP click button Install ZIP. Select the SD and select the firmware file. Confirm with swipe to the right. After the installation is complete, you will see an offer to reboot into the system.

Works fine. There are minor bugs, but overall not bad.

Please show me step by step to flash new rom.
I try it with xiaomi tool and adb tool but my phone isn't unlock bootloader. It isn't work

You must to unlock bootloader first. Xiaomi.eu ROM's are installed only on unlocked bootloader.

      • As I can see in the flash_twrp.bat file the script does the following:
        • @echo off
          fastboot devices
          pause
          fastboot erase recovery
          fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
          fastboot boot twrp.img
          pause
        • Everything is in the same folder (twrp.img and flash_twrp.bat). What's the problem? It's just stuck here. "Waiting for any device" but the device is detected. What's wrong?

Problem solved. Now we are downloading the unlock app from Xiaomi site.
Should we upload the rom as a ZIP file or unzipped? Thanks!

Do You have UNLOCKED bootloader?
If NO, then nothing will turn out.
