I would love having dpi control from pa plus miui.
Maybe one day my dream comes true.

That's correct.
Mind that when you install PA, you'll have to wipe data on that system, otherwise you will get stuck in a bootloop.

then after install PA, I have to do all the wipe?
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Wipe System \ format / system (CWM)
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
then reboot
is that correct?

Can you give me a step by step guide starting from the most classic situation of two miui rom and original recovery. I would like to avoid making mistakes
thanks

I'll give one when I'm back from school, I'm off for now.

Just copy-pasted from some other trheads:
  1. Download latest recovery-signed-***.zip (http://d-h.st/users/M1cha/?fld_id=11289#files)
  2. Copy the file as “update.zip” in the root directory of your sdcard
  3. Reboot into recovery and install the zip file
You've installed CWM.
Now boot in recovery,
  1. go to advanced and enable Truedualboot
  2. go to apply zip from sdcard
  3. choose zip from sdcard
  4. select the PA-zip
  5. Install at the system you want it
  6. Do full wipe at that sytem
  7. (flash g-apps at the same system: http://goo.im/gapps)
  8. reboot (DON't disable the recovery flash from MIUI if you don't want to and don't use Updater app anymore)

- just install cwm, backup your system(s) and enable TDB
- it doesn't change the partition layout
- you have to install all your apps on both systems, they aren't shared
- updating the rom doesn't affect your other system if you don't use the miui updater app

Do full wipe at that sytem?
from the translation (sorry for my english) seems to NOT do any wipe, correct?

You must do a wipe.
Also like m1cha said, ALWAYS make a backup first so you could restore things if needed.

full wipe right?
You who have tried the PA, it is worth to put it, you can use it everyday as main rom?and 'better miui?
last question: if he wanted to go back to miui on the two systems as I do?
Thank you very much

Yes full wipe.
In fact, i'm using PA right now. I think it's lovely. You have to decide yourself either you find it better or not.
If you want to go back you could do a full wipe and just use the updater app from miui for a new version.

ok thanks, you've been a big help, just find the courage ... I try!fear of brick

The chanche of bricking your phone using the right cwm is very small. Do a backup and everything should be okay.

Wish Xiaomi would add something like the pie full screen mode from PA.

Love that one but can't get myself to do the switch to PA permanently with all the features I would miss from MIUI.

Most notably the lock screen and music player, I would miss that too much.

I still have a doubt about the wipe:
1-when I was have droid pro, before installing the new ROM, I do Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache, wipe data, I have to do it here?
2-and after installation of the PA, before reboot, I have to redo Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache, wipe data?
sorry but I still have this doubt and I would not make mistakes.
3-The system 2 where I leave the miui continues to run and I can always upgrade it with weekly rom right?
I think, however, can also serve to others.
Thank you for your patience

The sound recording in videos is still awful. Only MIUI roms fixed this unfortunately. It's the only thing keeping me from changing...

Agree with you Coldbird!

PIE and HALO are awesome features that I would love to see in MIUI

Flash gapps seperately i thought.
@ibaco it is the same as with any other rom.
You can upgrade miui IF:
1 you have truedualboot enabled
2 you don't use Updater app anymore

two questions:
but enable truedualboot involves a wipe data but only on the active partition or both?
If I install after the TDB, the CM system 1, system 2 suk me remains the miui base as when it was installed from the factory or the one I had updated me?
thanks

TDB will wipe both, i think.
After TDB system 2 will stay as you left it, with the updated one, i suppose.
