MIUIAndroid 2.10.19
HTC One X international (Originally O2 UK)

After flashing the latest miuiandroid Rom, I found that my phone is intermittently crashing whilst listening to music. Wiping the cache seems to have mitigated the issue somewhat. I have found that the issue is more pronounced when I am waking the phone from sleep with a configured lockscreen password/pattern (anything besides slide).

Observed symptoms:

- Music keeps playing
- Touchscreen becomes unresponsive
- System still seems to be running as sometimes I can catch the clock tick over
- Phone soft boots

The above symptoms can happen at anytime during three unlock process, from when the power button is pressed to when you slide your finger to the unlock icon.

Yeah I'm having this issue with 2.10.19, on the Galaxy Nexus, although freezing has mainly been happening when using Chrome.

Have rolled back to 2.10.12 for now.

Same issue here with the exact same symptoms on SGSII. It takes around halv a minute from the phone becomes unresponsive untill it reboots on its own. Always happens when playing music.

I also had the same problem with 2.10.12

Here it is, I think it crashes at around:

E/dalvikvm(27678): threadid=71: stuck on threadid=86, giving up

And then everything dies:

Okay, I've done some more digging and now I can replicate the issue every time.

- Configure a lockscreen (pattern/pin/password)
- Start music playing
- Lock the screen
- Unlock the screen, insert in the password.

Now either:

- Wait 2 minutes, phone automatically crashes

Or:

- Lock the screen again, unlock, and the phone crashes

I had this happening today on my SGS2 with 2.10.12 while playing music with 3.part music player. The music started to stutter for a few seconds, and then it soft-booted. I didn't have any pattern or pin activated.

Hmmm... Your issue may be different to mine, I am using the stock music player. Is your issue reproducible?

No, not reproducible, so maybe a random crash then, but it was the first reboot I have had since I started using MIUI 3 weeks ago (and on stock I had reboots several times a week) and it came while playing music, and then i read this thread.

See if you can replicate what you were doing before and if it crashes again, then you'll be able to nail down exactly what's going on and maybe get a logcat for the developers :)
