New Poco F1 fingerprint does not register

I had fingerprints erased before the update. After the update I can't add fingerprints. It just goes to the add fingerprint screen then doesn't register touch

More information:

1. Using the fingerprint to turn on the screen works.
2. The finger print test doesn't register any enrols either.
3. I flashed the boot image again. Didn't work
4. Uninstalled greenify. Didn't work
5. Rolled back to 9.4.26. Now this surprised me - did not work. Wiped dalvik and cache
6. Reinstalled 9.5.9 with wipe of dalvik, cache and even system. Still no.

It just goes to the add fingerprint screen and then doesn't register the fingerprint.

Additionally I added face ID but now I can't get into the face ID section to deactivate it. Something is wrong with that part of the software.

Solved through factory reset.
