I have a Poco X6 Global with Xiaomi.EU hyperOS 2.0.9.0 rom. Currently traveling in Croatia away from home so no adb, fast tools, etc
I bought a tourist sim card that advertised 5G services. Last year in Croatia I had 5G service on the phone here and figured I would have no issues. Upon activation at first I was getting no data, no LTE signal or 5g. I remembered last year I played around with the MBN modem tools * # 663368378 # * # * to adjust the config to the provider I was using. I did that again yesterday, and was able to get LTE+ but no 5g. This caused me to keep playing around in that tool, and I will admit I properly took it too far by doing some of the advanced options within modem relating to SW and HW configs.
I failed at getting 5G to work, and later noticed the NR service status is restricted which means the provider is not offering 5G sim on this tourist sim card. I am going to send them a support email asking about that before renewing in 9 days.
However during this process I think I took it too far within MBN modem tools and perhaps screwed up a config.
So my question is how can I reset the MBN Modem Config back to our of the box? Back to where it is just automatic and does what it can without us as power users intervening in the options set?
