proper sd card setup

I was wondering if someone could point me to a faq/sticky about what the optimal sd card set up should be for Miui. I remember reading (somewhere) that miui runs a2sd+ and needs ext3 on the card, but I might be mistaken on that. I would like to set it up so that it will run most efficiently with miui.

My current sd is 16 gb, 1gb ext3, with 32mb swap.

Well after experimenting for a couple of weeks, it appears that ext3 is preferable to ext4. Any size up to 1gb works fine. If you have a swap, and run dt-a2sd 4 beta after flashing the language pack, you can download DT's a2sdgui from the market and set a swap and a swappiness. It is not necessary to do that though. Other than that, all this will work fine.
