Ransomware:lockscreen!rnf In Latest Weekly Miui9

So after hard work getting rid of my preinstalled shop bloatware rom (unlock bootloader flashing official developer ROM WAITING 72 hours so I can unlock it and then install Xiaomi EU rom) finally, I get the report from windows antivirus that the ROM install file have a virus.

Ransom: AndroidOS/LockScreen!rfn

Only thing I can find on the forum is somebody posting in one thread about it and that the virus in the MiCredit.

Is anybody aware of this or anybody else has a similar situation? I'm disappointed that there is no thread on the forum about this as it can be a serious issue.
My antivirus specifically located this thread in paymentservice.apk

Any comments?

Very interesting question/post, if true.
I would like to see someone of the xiaomi team comment your affirmation.
I never used before my phone for payments because I was not sure about security, and now after your post I feel more insecure...

Upload paymentservice.apk to VirusTotal and see what it says, might be false positive if only your AV software flags it.

Ok thanks for the information I take that you are 100% positive about this. Still I wish some sticky or post from moderators is put as I encounter a few times the " virus" question.
