Red Rice screen errors, random touches

hi,

been having some issues with the screen touch - often it will do 2 presses of a letter when messaging, or wont allow me to drag icons, just now it muted itself so i pressed the volume icon and it seemed to think i pressed the power icon.

quite annoying. updated to v16 of miui. and still the same.


screen is clean has protector but happens if protector is off too.

any ideas?

so i think i may have found the issue - i've noticed this most happens when on charger.

charger is - uk. output: dc.5v 500mA. although on an apple charger with an output of 5v 1a this does not happen.

so wierd.

Fairly typical for most Android phones when they're plugged in & charging - don't think it's anything sinister
