[ROM | 4.1.1][ | WIUI | ][ 4.8.29 - FiNAL ] - MULTiLanguage | v4 | v5 | AROMA |

hello,i have a question, why not depends on JLB 7 ROM?? Is JLB14' modem is battery friendly than JLB7??

1. downgrade to JLB7 based ROMs much more complicated, that's why I choose other good and newer JLB ROM.
if you coming from v5, you should flash it without any wipe ;)

2. v5 has many new services, I haven't got enough time for backporting all of them.

ps.: no need quote full post, pls edit your post for cleaner topic, thnx ;)

WiUi v4 JB 3.2.22 FiNAL UPDATED!
- ramdisk fixed, thnx to M1cha
- no need downgrade!
- fixed chinesse FC bug
- updated Google apps
- updated Keyboard
- some minor update...

link in the post #1

Install notes:
- you should flash over v5, but Wipe Data required, of course
- or use TrueDualBoot

My notes:
I use it with v5 theme and I really like it.

I almost forgot why I loved v4:
I can use my Mi2 on Power Saving mode, and system still smooth... :D

the auto backlight not work

Hi Wajk, welcome back! Differences that I have with respect to v4 v5? good or bad is it?

Pros:
+ smooth handling
+ better performance (also with 3D games)
+ Control Panel
+ better memory management

Cons:
- v5 apps
- v5 animations
- v5 developments

As I said before I can use my Mi2 on Power Saving mode, and full system still smooth (without any microlag)... I love it :D
I'm on this v4 ROM with v5 theme, but I will come back to v5 series on this weekend, because I can't live without new features ;)

Wajk, can add in your release features that find in the Medina's rom like crossbreender, direct injection turbo?

I follow Exit_Only works, just check the first post in this topic. He made great Tweak Pack.
I use similar tweaks with my taste, and I use some parts from his pack with his permission.

If you would like to try his MOD just install it over any WiUi ROM...
here is link to Direct Injection Turbo * Entropy * DNS
Just follow his instructions.

Of course I always test new tweaks and if I found tweaks which is working great our device I will implement it.
I don't want to implement too much tweak without test, I also like stability, too.

He working on his MOD while I was offline, So, I will check his latest work, of course. ;)

How can disable in your rom CPU and GPU rendering?

If you would like to disable CPU and GPU rendering, just Power Off your phone.

Moreover the crossbreender is useful?

When I tested it couple month ago I didn't feel any diff.
But I didn't try all options, because I don't use Tether and so on...

Test it for yourself, and use it if you like it.
This is Android, optimize your device for your usage. :)
I implemented init.d support, sysctl support to WiUi, so you can test tweaks/MODs.
Choice is Yours!

Thanks for making a V4 downgrade available for us, Wajk! I still think your 3.2.22 version is the best, but I will give WIUI 3.6.14 a shot ;D

Is the latest v4 ROM compatible with M2S?

Sent from my MI 2S using Tapatalk 4 Beta

I'm happy to report that battery life on WIUI 3.6.14 is pretty amazing. It's been almost two full days and I still have about 40% battery left (am using extended 3120 mAh battery) so with my current use, I should be able to go over 3 days with no problems. Albeit the use has been relatively light (only a bit over 2 hours on screen time), but I've still been making phone calls, texts, checking notifications, taking pictures as usual, with a bit of gaming, viewing YouTube videos, and streaming some online radio via 3g. Wifi is on all the time and I have my phone on Normal Mode with about 80% brightness. I'm also running Greenify in conjunction with Tasker so my phone is in Deep Sleep almost 90% of the time.

The only minor issues I'm having is that some apps aren't working properly, like SwipePad and Stick-It Player, but I can live without those. Another couple of tiny issues I noticed; sometimes Twitter will be stuck refreshing and the trending section in the YouTube app doesn't refresh itself, but again, it doesn't bother me, I just thought I'd mention it. All my important apps are working.

Eventually I will see how much on screen time I can get with this. On 3.2.22, I was averaging 5 to 6 hours a day and could stretch it up to 12 hours on Power Saving Mode with a dimmer screen and I would only need to charge once daily.

Wajk
Well I'm using the experimental version for 2 weeks and I'm having a little issue... The mobile data sometimes don't enter instantly, sometimes I need to change into 3g or reboot the system... But everything else ius wonderful as always. Thanks!

I quote myself: it works, and it seems even smoother than V5 :S I may use this as a daily driver but it seems like the photos has worse quality compared to V5. Is it possible to port camera from M2S 32GB V5?

Thnx for your test and feedback. I working on new v5 release, but maybe later I will update v4 again.
Thats true, Mi2S require some driver from v5.

If you would like to try it, here is M1cha solution for CM10 camera problem. Thnx to him!
Maybe solution for you. If you will try it, pls report back, thnx!

yes, mi2s has a completely different camera.
Edit: try to push files libchromatix_imx135_* from miuiv5 to /system/lib this could fix the problem

Wajk, what about WIUI fot v5? We are looking forward. Thanks
