[ROM | 4.1.1][ | WIUI | ][ 4.8.29 - FiNAL ] - MULTiLanguage | v4 | v5 | AROMA |

I have been a faithful user os WIUI since I discovered... I am REALLY happy with its performance and battery behavior (thanks Wajk!) . But yesterday I bought the Tapatalk4 app and I have a weird error with it.

It doesn't work on wifi, but it does on 3g. I have TrueDualBoot so I tested it in CM10.1 and it works ok. In my Xoom Tapatalk also works flawlessly.

Anybody has experienced something like this? Any ideas?

I have a issue with Tapatalk 4 too. If I try to change notification sound manually to None, phone still uses the notification sound witch is set default to all other apps. Sound appears to be chosen correctly, but there is still sound when tapatalk notifies on something. I just want it to be silent, but show the notification icons.

But are you able to use Tapatalk on wifi?

Great work, as always, Wajk!

I'm curious though, since you've posted all these new mods/tweaks that are meant to super charge the phone, how come they're not implemented as part of your rom? I know you've said before you wanted to keep WIUI clean and I am certainly in agreement because it's one of the best custom roms I've ever used, and I wouldn't want to mess with a good thing, but I'm assuming they must provide some benefit if you've shared them.

Choice is yours as always! ;)
I'm happy if you are satisfied one of my ROM. We aren't same, of course.

But You don't spent too much time with this version if I understand right.
Everytime, when you flash new ROM, use it for min. 1 day if it isn't unusuable.
Because it is need time to rebuild cache, index and so on...

Always, when I flash new ROM, after one day my device will be much faster than before.

I use it v4 ROM on sys2 on PowerSaving mode, and I like it.
Now, enough for me, because summer is here, mostly I use my device as phone,
camera (many times) and sometimes I play with it. (RiptideGP2, RealRacing3)

If you can't live without new features, v5 ROM better choice for You!

Great work, as always, Wajk!

Thnx ;)

Sorry, I don't use correct english words always. so...
Of course, I implemented many parts from these TweakPacks, but not all,
because stability is primary for me. As I said before.

I always search best settings our device, what I always implement into new release.
I use my Mi2 with that ROM what I share with you,
I just flash my CPU MOD over the ROM and that's all.

I share that links to tweaks/mods,
If anybody would like to try them, or would like to try other settings.
Install steps mostly are simple.
Android is very customizable OS, you know.

So if anybody has got freetime, he/she can play with settings.
If anybody hasn't, he/she can use WiUi with my settings.

I hope you understand what I say, and I hope I understand your question/problem.

If anybody will find any interest setting or other cool tweak/addon, just share with us.

Hi Guys

I recently got my Xiaomi MI2s and installed Rom 3.2.8 straight away however, I kept getting an android process acore error so installed the next rom down which was 3.7.5.

3.7.5 works like a charm and now I’ve got an OTA option for 3.8.9 so my question is am I safe to upgrate OTA or do I have to install the ROM from this site?

Thanks

Tomorrow new ROM arrive (as every Friday...), so let's wait and download it then...

Very happy with latest V4 version, after some days of using it. Really fast and smooth even in power saving mode. Benchmarks are not completely trustworthy, but here you have...

Hi wajk, just some feedback regarding wiui rom. I have this game called Dungeon Hunter 4, and I love it. But with recent updates, 3.8.2 and 3.6.x, the became slower and slower. Especially using wheel of charm and buying stuff at shop.

Once I reflash the system with default MIUI, the game run so smoothly. I believe it might be due to the tweak in either animation or database. But just that :)

Try disabling hardware rendering in developer options

Hello! I recently had a problem that google play didn't download anything - new apps or updates. Thanks for the answers to everyone, but the problem was a bit stranger in this case. So at last option I tried to update every app manually, one by one. After bunch of apps had failed to update I hit update on google maps and voila, it succeeded to update. After that all other apps was updated ok and the play store have been working well. Weird, right?

Another puzzling question: sometimes (have happened before prior problem) when I open the play store I get this message about download.bin, queue/start. I always just hit back to skip it. Do anyone else get the same message? Have I infected my phone?

I'm inquisitive however, since you've posted all these new mods/tweaks that are intended to super charge the telephone, why they're not brought about as a component of your rom? I know you've said before you needed to keep WIUI clean and I am unquestionably in understanding on the grounds that its one of the best custom roms I've ever utilized, and I wouldn't have any desire to upset a great thing, yet I'm expecting they should give some profit assuming that you've imparted them. All these are a great example of mobile application development.

LOL, I asked the exact same question almost word for word a few posts back.

Your answer is also there.
