So here it is, a long waited CM12.1 by famous developer M1cha. (thank you Micha for your hard work!)
We can discuss about the ROM here in this thread.
Currently his Rom is for testing now (it will be official as M1cha said), but you can do it, download it and you can test it.
The ROM supports both partitions layout!

cm-12.1-20150730-UNOFFICIAL-aries.zip NEW (I saw on chinese miui.com patch for not merged partitions (old partition): here is a link for it and it works very well!)

New changes 20150730:

[changed] total rewrite
[changed] new kernel: CAF(LA.AF.1.1_rb1.18) + 3.4.108(upstream) + android-3.4(kernel/common)
[changed] support for merged partitions [bug] some features like hw tunables are still missing

(check the OP). differences to the previous alpha:
- fix earlysuspend to reduce power usage
- fix camera for some devices
- fix bootloops
- enable datamedia for all devices(separated internal storage is treated as a sdcard now)
- update kernel to 3.4.108 (and merge Google's kernel/common for security fixes)

SELinux still is in permissive mode and hw tunables are missing.

Thx M1cha for your work.

I upgraded from Mokee 5.1.1 with cache/dalvik wipe.
Everything seems working fine except stock alarm shutdown the phone.

no idea why u guys think that. the problem is totally unrelated(as far as I can say now).
I never tested the ROM on merged partition layouts before publishing it - I am using the old one.
But the ROM supports both layouts.

Sorry M1cha,
I concluded that because I saw people saying about bootloop on both forums xda and 4pda and included me.
I also have bootloop with cm logo animation stuck with old layout.
On my mi2s I have yours partition resizing: Singleboot Partition Layout with G4A Bootloader
I will try today flashing again and post log.

Just flash it as any rom, you don`t have to flash boot.img after the rom because you have a new layout (merged) partititons, as M1cha said no bootloop at all...
 
SMS working perfectly for me.
Vodafone IT.
could it be related to your phone provider?
 
Try to wipe cache and dalvik cache.
Try to clear cache and data in settings, all apps, Messaging app.
 
I tried using a TIM sim, and same problem... so the provider isn't the problem...
I tried using Miui v5 and it works, so it's a rom problem (or my because nobody except me has this problem)

Now I'm restoring the TWRP backup after tried with miui v5, but I'm having some problems...
When it finish I'll try spaxon's tips

Edit: reinstalled this rom. All work fine, but I can't flash gapps, no free space available. I have old partition layout

I've installed the rom and it works well (I hope...). I solved the problem that I had with Rom Mokee about the volume too low . only 1 bug : When the phone is charging , the LED does not turn red ( or other color )
 
pleasant surprise ... after installing the rom and activating the upgrade option recovery, I found the touch cyano recovery . excellent !
fu..k.......no backup/restore from recovery!!

well first, this is totally untested and it could mess things up if you have the old partition table.
secondly, CMRecovery aka SimpleReovery is intended for OTA only. CWM is dead.

CMRecovery works with merged partitions?

Edit: how can I install this rom with merged partitions? Now I have old partitions layout but I thinking to merge the partitions

I've found a big bug: if you delete the pre-installed wake up, it's the end....the phone reboot but not restarted correctly...you must delete all and re flash the rom. sorry but I changed ROM--

30/06/2015-
I did some testing and the problem also if I change the times already set up or if I add new schedules.

TOTAL CRASH you must re flash the ROM. is possible correct this bug? Thanks
