Rom encrypted

hi, after installing the rom from twrp, the data partition is encrypted, and consequently the twrp displays the folders with random numbers and letters, and does not even let me format that partition because it is read only, do you know how to solve? thanks

Install a TWRP which can handle decryption.

I have already tried but nothing to do, do you know if after an update it remains encrypted?

The main question is: Is it your first xiaomi.eu ROM installation?

If yes, you have to "Format Data" in TWRP (in "Wipe" menu => "Format Data" button), that's written in install instructions.

Encrypted or not, you can always format data...

EDIT: Knowing your device and installed ROM version would be nice too.

thanks, but i just wanted to do this just that the data partition is write protected and does not let me format it in any way
