It seems a modified boot image is needed for root on lollipop

Seems to work good, but there is no possibility to have root permissions at the moment, and for me is a problem.

You need just root compatible kernel. Bootloader is shipped from factory unlocked.

if you have flashed CWM 6.0.5.0, you can flash latest CM11, go to settings "about phone" and set checkbox "update recovery" and reboot. CWM will be 6.0.5.1 english.

No, again. Android 5.0 has new security policies, so you can't run TDB anymore!!! It is not CWM related.

edit: In fact, TDB is giant hack. It was just matter of time, when it will stop working.
