This still persists in 2.5.18, could you please flag again and have sorted for next version?

The dev just asked me,

"Where are you trying to paste the contents which causes the error"

So you copy the number from the Contacts app, and try and paste in (i assume SMS)?

There is no error. It just doesn't copy to clipboard as it should. If for example i have something else copied from a different place...let's say a word from a website, that works fine when i paste...if afterwards i copy a contact from my contacts list, and try pasting, it will still paste the word from the website and not the contact. Is it clear now?
