SOLVED: [Help][CWM] Cannot flash zip file -- installation aborted (bad)

Hi, I'm trying to flash a zip file on my xiaomi MI2 through CWM (6.0.5.0), but it keeps saying that it cannot open the file and aborts the installation -- (bad)

I have downloaded the file multiple times on multiple devices and can open it normally;
I've moved it from one folder to the other;
I've tried to sideload it;
I've rebooted from recovery to recovery and flashed again;
I've explicitly stated that it shouldn't verify the file (i know it's alright);
I've used Google to try to find an answer, yet failed;
I've tried eventing I can think of, but I keep getting the same error...

Do YOU have any advice, please share and thank you

Did you try with TWRP recovery? But pay attention because dual boot IS NOT supported! It flashes always on system 1! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=57252389

which file are you trying to flash?
and, as @MSephiroth says, why don't you try managing with another custom recovery?

Well that was embarrassing (for the author of the zip), it seems that he'd uploaded a new version of the zip file, which works just fine, as usual -- thanks for the help though!!!

@zipalign - the file is a Chinese version of MIUI6, which I find rather stable

@MSephiroth - thanks for the suggestion, maybe next time though

glad you solved with new .zip!
there are official channels to get chinese MIUI version though.. their flashable .zip's are 100% tested and secure
