Tethering

On the prior build, I had WiFi tethering working through a 3rd party app. Now I cannot tether at all, regardless of whether I try to use an app or not.

Any ideas?

1.4.1 with the latest English pack, on a HTC HD2.

Have you checked to see if the kernel you are using supports wireless tethering?

No, the build I installed was downloaded from here. I guess I had made the assumption it would work.

Any pointers how I check this? I'll be Googling it in the meantime anyway.
