I'm giving up on updating this post & thread for now because I don't have time to sift through this confusing mess of a forum which for some reason is meant for two different devices.

You can find the same but updated version of this thread over here on XDA forums.

Everything below will soon be outdated!

----------------

What's the latest TWRP version for the Mi 9T and does anyone know whether this works with the latest stable xiaomi.eu ROM 10.3.14?

I'm currently using the LR.Team version and I'm on Xiaomi.eu 10.3.12 but scared to update due to the amount of people on here being stuck in fastboot..

----------------

Decided to create this thread to try and get some clarity about what versions work with what ROM etc.
See the Google Drive folder below for all download links.

Confirmed working on the stock ROM 10.3.12 by Master_T.
Note: (Sometimes?) needs extra misc.bin file to be flashed which causes the Mi 9T to think it's a K20. Chinese language is selected by default but you can change it to English. Instructions: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/twrp-not-flashing-booting-in-9t-eu.51183/#post-493030

and this one! Thanks @slavke1976

Thanks! I'll add it to the OP & Google Drive. Have you got an original source for that version?
This seems to be the Greek 2019-08-05 version which can't create backups. Check the Greek website or my Google Drive, there's a newer version!

Are you using this version of TWRP and paired with what version of the .eu ROM?

Not yet!!!!!!
i just received my phone this morning!!! and it is locked!

Be patient for my feedback.

OP updated.
Thanks for your taking care. TWRP is always a bothering point.
I've received my new phone ( as MI8SE replacement) and it has Stable 10.3.12.0 PFJEUXM version update.
Now I have to wait 168 h for boot unlock.
it may be a difference within running rom, we shall mention it when commenting. EU/CN or MI Global.

Note:
FP very fuzzy and slow! Themes are missing when in Europe region, working with other settings.
Very happy having LTE B20 and 28 now.
One week to test this rom.

Flashing the misc.bin wasn't needed for me when flashing the LR team twrp. So its not (Sometimes?) but Sometimes.

OP updated!

If you can fill in one of the question marks, please let me know exactly what twrp and rom you're using! (screenshots help)

Great idea, a thread to organise TWRP versions and working status!

The Greek TWRP version 3.3.1_12-08 works with Xiaomi.eu stable 10.3.14.
I can confirm the most used functions work perfectly, including:
- Brightness adjustment and vibration
- USB OTG
- Storage decryption (/sdcard) now works in the 12-08 version with pattern entry

I have not tested back-up yet.

That's great to know. If you could test backup and restore functionality that'd be grand!

I'm on eu dev 9.8.1 with TWRP GR 3.3.1_23-07-19. Can I flash the new TWRP through TWRP or must it be flashed through fastboot?
The one I'm using now didn't boot with the command "fastboot boot twrp.img", I needed to turn off my Mi 9T and to restart TWRP with the buttons power and volume+.
With latest greek release 3.3.1_12-08 data backup & restore is working ok as far as I understood from @fmcheetah's post on xda:

Hello
From stock Stable 10.3.12.0 PFJEUXM flashed GREEK 12.08 version and installed EU 9.8.15 and Globe customised .
Perfect!
encryption works fluently as mandatory for me.
Did not test backup because I don't trust TWRP backup for many verified reasons.
Thanks for everybody help.

I was running EEU 10.3.12.0, flashed the Greek Recovery, but now I cant boot the system anymore, it keeps returning to the TWRP recovery, so it looks like the recovery is not compatible with the EEU rom.

you forgot to format data/yes in TWRP prior flashing the new rom!

But I wasn't flashing a rom, the only thing I flashed was the TWRP recovery.

Tried this one today, but ended up with the same problem. The device now keeps booting to the recoery. I'm afraid I'm ending up with a format of data again :(
Some users succesfully boot it very weird

Soorryy, you flashed a recovery (TWRP) and you boot into recovery!
Were is your issue?

Check if system is well mounted in TWRP.
if issue still persist it is time to install EU rom.
Going to do that anyway. Because after every reboot I keep getting notifications abound 'find device' that stopped working. This notification keeps popping up constantly and after a few seconds the phone boots itself to the recovery/bootloader. I'm done with stock MIUI.
