Fake email!

hi guys, i'm new to this world but i found yours a fantastic job.

I'm having a problem installing your rom (xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9ProEU_V12.0.1.0.QJZMIXM_v12-10).
My smartphone is a Redmi Note 9 Pro with (joyeuse_id_global_images_V12.0.2.0.QJZIDXM) with unlocked bootloader.
After a couple of attempts I manage to install:

twrp 3.4.0-14 by mauronofrio:
- fastboot devices
- fastboot flash recovery twrp 3.4.0-14 by mauronofrio.img
- fastboot boot twrp 3.4.0-14 by mauronofrio.img or fastboot reboot

then I tried these three ways:

1 - Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> DATA -> Back
- Install -> .zip ROM -> Wipe Cache / Dalvik Cache -> Restart

2 - Wipe -> Format Reset -> Back
- Install -> .zip ROM -> Wipe Cache / Dalvik Cache -> Restart

3 - Install -> .zip ROM -> Wipe Cache / Dalvik Cache -> Restart

Without ever receiving an error, But when I restart it always comes back to the TWRP in loop and in the Insall folder I find only folders with "numbers and letters".

To solve I have to go back to flashing with miFlash.

how can i proceed with the installation of your rom?

Thanks in advance

-it's not wipe to be done!
-You must FORMAT DATA in twrp wipe section. and nothing else!

so after installing TWRP and copying the rom.zip to the directory of my smartphone I must first: Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> DATA (right swipe) --> back and then Install the Rom
or should I first Install the Rom and then go to Wipe?

do I have to click on Wipe Cache / Dalvik Cache after installing the rom?

i had the same problem as you (@Tactical1977)
i tried to follow these steps suggested by (@rbarat):

-In TWRP click on Wipe, then on Format Data -> type "yes" (this will decrypt the phone)
-Now you need to restart the phone to TWRP (in TWRP click on the Reboot button, then click on the Recovery button) !!! (important, otherwise it will not work)
-In TWRP, connect the phone to the PC and copy the ROM to Internal storage
-Install ROM (In TWRP click on Install and select ZIP from storage)
-Restart to System

But when I connect the phone after reboot to copy the rom, my pc detects the phone but with unknown memory and therefore does not make me copy into the rom.

how can I do?

the photo refers to the phone just flashed with miflash.

Unknown memory in the sense that I no longer see how many giga are available and also by opening internal storage there are no more folders and I cannot copy any file inside.

i have developer options active, usb debugging, install via usb, usb debugging (security settings) active.

in the pc I have installed adb version 1.3, the 1.4.3 I can't install it

As I can see here on your screenshot, your phone is recognized by the PC. So just copy the ROM-zip on it and install it with TWRP.

the last screen was done after flashing the original rom with miflash as after Format Data -> type "yes" the phone could not find anything inside the install folder.

can you tell me if the chronological order of the steps to be performed is correct?

1 - install twrp 3.4.0-14 by mauronofrio
2 - click on Wipe, then on Format Data -> type "yes" (this will decrypt the phone)
3 - restart the phone to TWRP
4 - In TWRP, connect the phone to the PC and copy the ROM to Internal storage
5 - Install ROM (In TWRP click on Install and select ZIP from storage)
6 -Restart to System

or should I first copy the rom in the directory and then access twrp do format data and then install the rom?

These steps are correct. If you copy ROM to device before format data it will be deleted, so you need to copy it again.
Before "6 -Restart to System" I always perform a wipe cache/dalvik and repeat it, when system has been started and there are lags.

tonight I tried again:

installed twrp -> see internal memory

boot in twrp- -> wipe -> format data (bottom) -> back -> back -> reboot button -> recovery

on reboot I have this situation and I can't copy the rom inside the internal memory:

what do you recommend?
is there an alternative?
I've flashed with miflash like 14 times since yesterday -.-'

- can i try with adb sideload method??

hello @Poney70 , can I always install this recovery with power shell -> adb -> fastboot device -> fastboot flash recovery recovery-TWRP-3.4.1B-0530-REDMI_NOTE9S-CN-wzsx150.img -> fastboot reboot?

ok later i try, but is it necessary to do the format Data in wipe?

as if it were brand new, also I don't need to back up now I can delete everything)

after installing the rom do I wipe cache / dalvik?

Yes "Format Data" in Wipe menu.

You can wipe cache / dalvik, it never hurts. ;)

now it reads me the internal memory, but "note 9s" while mine is "note 9 pro" (joyeuse)?
in fact for this name change I get an error "ERROR: 7 ...." as soon as I install.

I have seen that there is a method to correct it, but I wonder if doing so is like retrograde my phone?
