Unlock_hyperOS_ Global devices

Si vous obtenez l'autorisation de déberrouiller le chargé de démarrage (peu importe l'autorisation de l'appareil utilisé), vous pouvez déberrouiller 3 appareils Global en un an.
I don’t understand anything??
I unlocked my Mi 11 Lite 5G. If, as you say, we’re allowed 3 devices per year per account, why can’t I unlock my Redmi Note 13 Pro+ (European version)?

I keep getting the message: “Quota limit reached, try again <the next day>” or, in the developer options: “The system is being upgraded. Please try again later.”

P.S.: Does the HyperOS European version count as part of Global?

Please use English or your posts will be deleted.

It's irrelevant what happened three years ago.
Since the arrival of HyperOS, Xiaomi has changed the rules for unlocking the bootloader.
You can only unlock Global devices and it requires you to first obtain permission in the "Mi community" application.

Read the first post.
If you are constantly told that your quota is exhausted, it is a problem with Xiaomi (unfortunately).

Unlocking Eligibility
Instructions
1, Unlock access to Xiaomi HyperOS is only available to some users, please refer to the results of the audit.
2, 0nly Xiaomi accounts registered outside Mainland China can apply for the unlocking privileges. This feature is only available for non-Mainland China devices.
3, Unlocking privileges are time-sensitive and need to be re-applied for after expiration.
4 ,Users applying before December 31, 2024, are allowed to unlock up to 3 devices per account during the permission validity period.
5, Community is the only official way to applyto avoid your loss, please do not trust other unlocking tools or services.

Xiaomi really want to slow, or maybe stop any unlocking for bootloader. It’s expected, they want us to endure advertising and spyware.

I keep trying to unlock my MI 13T pro, but after 8 years and 5 devices. I spent 10 hours on it to find a way, and I see many stories of people waiting 2 months.
Now I’m done. After all these years with xiaomi phone and specially with xiaomi.eu, it’s over for me . I give back the phone to the xiaomi store.

A big thank you to all dev who participate in this rom. You were in the center of my life for 8 years.

Hi,
I have a new global redmi note 13 pro 5G, and having issues with unlocking it.
The phone OS is the latest. and my xiaomi account is some years old.

1) When I try to login into the Mi Unlock, I never get the SMS with the code. With past devices I never had that issue. how can this be solved?
2) When clicking on the "Apply for unlocking" I allways get the quota limit. even when clicking at 00:00 china time. Is there a way to over come this?
In the past we just had to wait 7 days. Now I'm stuck on the first step for way too much days...

Hi. I have a Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G Global 1.0.22.0. HyperOS I was trying to apply for permission to unlock and everyday I couldn't get the permission with the error message Application Quota.. I read somewhere that I can also use another device besides Xiaomi, so I used my Samsung S23 Ultra with the same mi account and the same simcard, now I tried to press the "apply button" 10 seconds earlier than 00:00 and i've got the error message "Account Error" And it will allow me to apply again after 1 weak. Why did this happened?

It's impossible to request the unlock authorization via Xiaomi Community, every time it says "application quota limit reached". Even pressing exactly at 00:00 (UTC+8) just changes the date to the next day. The quota is apparently reached within milliseconds, most probably because of bots that then resell the unlocks. Way to go Xiaomi, excellent solution to filter out scammers and let good users in!
I'm about to return my new 14T Pro and never ever buy Xiaomi again!!!

Read the title of this thread carefully again!
It is irrelevant where the device is purchased. The decisive factor is whether it is a Global device or a Chinese device.
I don't think this is strictly accurate. Devices with the global model number that were originally sold in the Chinese market cannot be unlocked. The only way to be sure is to ask the seller for the IMEI and check it on the Xiaomi device validator.

If your phone is still returnable, return it and buy a Global version that wasn't originally sold into the Chinese market. You can verify that you're buying a global device here if the seller will give you the IMEI.

If you read carefully, my issue is with obtaining unlock authorization in the Xiaomi Community app, not about the device at all. I had a Global device, it was sold and bought in the EU. My Xiaomi account is Global, 5000+ days old, the last unlock I did was 3 years ago, so I should be eligible, yet the app keeps saying "application quota limit reached".

Yeah, they've turned a process that was stressful anyway into a complete nightmare.

Requirements:
- You have a Global Device
- Inserted SIM in the device
- First, make sure your Xiaomi account is older than 30 days.
- You can only unlock the bootloader of 3 devices per year using your account.

download/install Xiaomi Community 5.3.31. video: https://streamable.com/7bqv4q
> change the area in the application to Global
> log in to your Xiaomi account
> click on Unlock bootloader
> click Apply for unlocking
If you see that the application limit quota has been reached, you need to wait until it resets at 00:00h China time and then click again on ( Apply for unlocking )

  • If you have received permission, log out of your Mi account on your mobile phone and turn off WiFI (Logout from the device, I'm not talking about the Mi community app)
  • restart the mobile and turn on mobile data
  • Go to Settings » About phone » HyperOS version.
  • Tap repeatedly on the HyperOS version until you see the pop-up You are now a developer!
  • Go back to Settings, click on Additional settings, then Developer options.
  • Enable OEM unlocking and USB debugging.
  • Bind your Xiaomi account to your phone. Tap Mi Unlock status » Agree » Add account and device. Make sure your device can connect to the internet using mobile data.
  • Once the account is successfully bound, you should get a message Added successfully. Mi account is associated with this device now.
  • Proceed to unlock bootloader.

The countdown has started (usually 72h). Now do not touch the MI account on the device in any way !!
- If you have timed out, continue with the steps:
Step 1.
Run the Mi Unlock app on PC and sign in with your Mi account;
Step 2. Shut down your phone manually, and hold Volume down key and Power button to enter Fastboot mode;
Step 3. Connect your phone to PC using USB cable and click "Unlock". (All user data will be deleted)

1.) "Bind your Xiaomi account to your phone. Tap Mi Unlock status » Agree » Add account and device. Make sure your device can connect to the internet using mobile data."
This is what not happening with my device.
I says all the time: "Couldn’t add. Please go to Mi Community to a..."

2.) Also says the Mi Community app: "application quota limit reached"

I cannot bind my Xiaomi account to my phone only another one's account. I do not really understand.

Does anyone met with issues like that?

I the case, I binding my Xiaomi 14 to account "called B", then I make unlock bootloader, then install another region ROM, then lock bootloader, can I use my Xiaomi 14 device with my own account?

Yes, I made similar approach with your scenario for flashing a different ROM on my father's phone. I unlocked the phone using my account, but before handing it I signed out my account from his phone and sign in with his account. I made this because we are in different cities and because was necessary to authenticate using 2FA via a SMS code to authenticate on the phone. Was for me more convenient to use my own SIM number and obviously my account.
