Guys nearly winning and winning are 2 different things.
The Galaxy S1 it's more than 3 years old, you can't expect them to update it forever.

Where did you get this fact? You mean the competition where forum members picked "other" and voted for SGS1 instead of using the 4 given. Xiaomi doesn't put phones on the list unless they CAN support em.

Your SGS1 is dead. Its an old device. Old. Old. Old. Old. Old. Let it die. Kill the thing. Even if it won unofficially everyone knows its more work to keep that device alive. Its not on the list. Whatever device is on that list will get it.
