What is this connector?

When you remove the back cover, just below the battery and to the left (near the bottom of the phone) there is a small round rubber cover. Beneath there is a connector of some kind.
Does anyone know what is it exactly? An external GPS aerial connector maybe?

gps or mobile antenna. Everything else wouldn't make much sense

I think it's mobile antenna, years ago I had a Nokia that seemed to have this kind of port and a phone shop told me it was for car kit.? Although being inside the cover would make that a bit unlikely

As @M1cha said it's most likely GPS.
My old Galaxy S had it too, a little smaller though but it was GPS.
People where modifying it to get faster GPS fixes back in the old days
