It's been a month with my new Mi Note 3. Im on the latest dev rom. I think there is a wifi energy consumption problem. Even when I'm using wifi for internet browsing battery percentage is going down on my eyes. Lte internet causing less energy loss than wifi. That is strange cos on my older Redmi 4X was vice versa.
The second thing is that on the Oreo 8.1 there is no possibility to switch wifi connection off after period of time. So wifi drains battery all the time... I managed to solve it by app "wifi automatic".
The third thing is that I can't connect to wifi 5ghz (i have no problems with 2,4ghz). I tried to change wifi settings in my phone to force the 5ghz but without results. I've got Xiaomi 3G router and my laptop connects to 5ghz without any problems.
Can anybody confirm that?
