Miui wont read my sd and when i plug it into the computer it doesnt pop up either any suggestions?

I am assuming that you tried the simple stuff first (e.g., rebooted phone and computer, opened shade connected usb, etc. _ and retried and it still didn't connect).
I saw the problems you were having in the other thread.
I think I would redownload the rom, wipe everything 3x and reflash it. Might have got a bad download, it happens.
