Hello everyone,

I have a Xiaomi 13 Ultra China version phone, running the China Rom. It's running OS version 1.0.15.0.UMACNXM. I'm trying to unlock the bootloader to install Xiaomi.EU Rom.

Is it possible to unlock the bootloader of this phone using Miflash Unlock?

I get to the "Add your phone number/Verify identity with phone number" step but never receive the text.

When I go into the developer options on the phone it says, "Couldn't add. Please go to the Mi Community to apply for authorization".

Is there an alternative method or do I just need to pay someone like NCunlock?

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you have any idea how trusted this is?

The warning about credit card theft and hardware damage doesn't inspire confidence lol.

This is just a warning on what an unlocked bootloader can potentially do, if you aren't cautious enough and are using some other "shady" rom. It doesn't mean that this fix does that. I for one can say that it worked for me in the past.

Thank you.
Yes, you can unlock the bootloader of your Xiaomi 13 Ultra using Mi Flash Unlock. However, if you're not receiving the SMS for verification, try these steps:

  1. Verify your Mi account to ensure it's fully verified and you're logged in on the phone.
  2. Use a different phone number, as sometimes switching numbers can help with receiving the SMS.
  3. Apply for authorization on the Mi Community, as the message in developer options indicates this is necessary. This process can take some time.
  4. If the above methods don't work, you could consider paying for a service like NCunlock, but be cautious of potential risks.
