Xiaomi Redmi 4x Stuck On Update

Hello,
I use the eu rom.
Currently I have 8.3.29

I tryed updating with the update app but I get an error when the download completes I then try again. Download files again on a checksum error.
When I delete the file from internal memory I get the same loop. First try fail. Second checksum error.

What do I do? Can I just manually download the latest rom. Start twrp and install it without losing all my settings? Like the update app doe?
Or do I have to start from scratchen to get past this loop?
