MIUI7 aries 5.8.27 ROM is really fantastic, optimized well. I have never felt my Mi2S so fast and so smooth!
DND settings FC fixed as well (this bug was found in previous 5.8.20 release)
Pleasure to use my phone after the update!

If yours is factory Mi recovery, then you need to flash either modified Mi recovery from first post, or put TWRP and flash from there. Apparently it works ok..

But when I select small font in the setting of the note application then I get small font in the system.... Weird

1° Previamente, tenía instalado el TWRP v2.8.6.0 y una ROM Developer
2° Desde el propio menú de actualización de MIUI, he seleccionado el .zip
3° Se te reiniciará automáticamente, y tras entrar el sólo en el TWRP, proseguirá el flasheo.
En total, son unos 10 minutos

After flash you may be wipe cahse. After that you come back set it again. And when you select change font system required reboot.

Hello, I install this rom in my Redmi 1S but the Gapps aren't installed. How can I install it ? When I put the .zip file in my SD Card and reboot in the recovery, it puts me the Mi-recovery and there is no way to install it (before install this rom, i got TWRP). Also, my phone is no more rooted. Do you know how to re-put the root ?

Hi, I had fun working that out last week. You need to flash the new Mi recovery only once, rename the downloaded ROM to update.zip and place it at the start of the file system along with your DCIM folder etc. Reboot into Mi Recovery and select Wipe Cache. Once that has completed stay in Mi Recovery, do not reboot, select the to install update.zip.

And now wifi connectivity is good.
For me compare to miui5 miui6 wasn't a so good experience but now miui7 feel good
