RC8p2 has been very stable for me over the past 5 days. No random reboots, no app FCs, descent battery life and an overall responsive system. Great work Bugers
The only issue I've had this time round is WiFi and Bluetooth would not turn on until I rebooted the system 4 times.

75 hrs up-time with RC8p2 without any issues. (Flashed over RC6, with Xposed CMSettings).

Yep, alarm triggered wake up from power off is useful when travelling without regular access to power socket.

When you press volume key, you can silence all the sounds. Here you can set the time you want to not been disturbed. For example, 1 hour. I think this is the same as do not disturb...

thank you, yes it's almost the same as the dnd-modus in miui, in miui it's possible to select the period and then it's repeating every day and in cm it seems only for one time. maybe there are apps with that functionality, but I wouldn't want to test right now, because I'm testing the battery-life and don't want to introduce 'foreign' wakelocks.


here on clean install rc8p2 and several apps don't show the cast-icon. anybody have Wi-Fi issues with casting to Chromecast?

In lollipop it is called priority sound mode. Go to Settings // Notifications // Interruption.

Yesterday I suffered from the laggy YouTube problem. I cannot play a single video without huge lag, a restart partly solved this, and a second restart totally eliminated this. I use ogmods with p2 rom, with the first rc8 I was never faced this issue

RC8p2 - much better than the previous ones. All my crashes are resolved, it won't leak like hell after one day of usage. That's good

Issues that I currently have:
- Cell data issues (Disa/WhatsApp or Slack chatting work, but nothing loads in browser over cell data, regardless if 2G or 3G, not sure if ROM bug or something else) - selecting a different APN fixed it, thanks @Haubitze88!
- after a day or two of uptime I can't use WiFi even though still reports connected - this is probably the known bug, can be fixed with reboot
- after a day or two of uptime BlueTooth disconnected and couldn't connect anymore - no logs unfortunately, can be fixed with reboot
- Smart Unlock doesn't detect my MiBand 1S

NEVER use init.d. It's slow laggy and it has lack of accuracy. Abandon the init.d and put in terminal these commands

After a week with RC8p2

- video app started to be laggy. However, the browser Firefox plays them well;

- Wi-Fi could not connect. Reboot did not help. Wiping cache in recovery did.

Otherwise, things work great.
