Working great on Mi5, really smooth and good battery, thanks! I can confirm the bootloop with Dutch language though. If it won't even boot, I don't know how to make a log? Just keeps repeating android logo - upgrade bar - android logo etc.

When I change the language to English, the problem is gone and I can boot and reboot without any problem, so I'll just keep it on English for now.

I also get the boot loop on my Redmi Note 2 when I set it to Dutch.
When I use English, there is no problem.

It can be quite frustrating if this seems to be ignored by the developers.
I'm sure they do want to look into the problem.

Only: how do we get an error log when the phone doesn't get booted properly?

In TWRP you can mount the drives,so Windows can access them.
So, where is the log located then?

If we know which files you devs need, it will be easy to upload them :)

Anyone like me? Before this in miui7 for Mi4s, it tooks only 2-3 hours to get the battery full. But after upgraded to miui8, charged 3 hours already but the battery charging still on 75% hmmm

I have a problem with my sim2, it cant reach any kind of signal, but sim 1 is good. Now thanks God, my problem solved.
For who has problem with signal.
Try to call *#*#4636#*#*.
Choose your sim.
Look at set preferred network type.
Change to TD-SCDMA, GSM/WCDMA and LTE.
Hope works.

I don't know about you guys, but my mi3 the battery life is awful. I have less than 30 mins screen on time and no calls and my battery is at 67% after 7 hours.
The champion app in draining my battery is xiaomi service framework.
Anyone experience the same issue?
I had same problem with stable 7.3.2 for Mi4.. I changed to weekly..

Of course we do want to look into the problem, but we can't smell that something's wrong. I follow this thread very regularly and I've not seen one post about this. How are we supposed to know there is something wrong when nothing is reported in our repo, that's where the whole issue tab is for basically. And then people becoming frustrated that they get no help only because they can't read themselves. In OP it says report language problems in the according repo. Anyway, it will be sorted out in next update probably. Thanks for reporting.

Really......?
Have you even read this thread?
There are lots of complaints about the so called bootloop problems with the Dutch ROM.
You have been tagged number of times in this thread so you must know.
But if you want to see for yourself please install the Dutch version and let me know how it works.
Sorry but I'm a bit frustrated after trying to get it to work for the last 3 days with no help from any of the devs so far.
I understand that it can be frustrating but you're being angry now at someone that can'r really do much about this problem. You can't expect that he is gonna read every single post he is tagged in. If you had read the OP and reported at the translators we would be glad to help you and solve the bug. In the end we are here to help each other.

I know that there can be bugs in translating software.
However, I really didn't think that it could cause the phone rebooting.

Actually, I never thought the language was the cause of the problem as I never had such issues with the roms.

If you want to test it, a quick way is to install the ROM, switch to Dutch after first boot and then install the root package in TWRP.
You will get the boot loop immediately..

Bootloop after install? Try this.....

On my RN3 pro prime I was not able to install this ROM (bootloop)

Finally success!!

Here's what I did: I changed my system language to English first, then rebooted into TWRP (latest version), wiped cache/dalvik, installed this ROM, wiped cache/dalvik again, switched off my device and finally started my device......waited until progress bar finished and MIUI 8 booted up successfully. Hopefully this will help more users having the boot loop issue!?

Hopefully this helps: How to pull a log via adb if you cant boot or an app for if you can boot but still need a log.

[Sorry can't post direct links yet]

Some of you don't realize how lucky you are that there's a process for reporting bugs. Some custom rom devs don't provide such goodness. Plus it's literally in the OP so how is anyone flashing anything on their device and not reading the entire OP? That way leads madness.

It seems to be working just fine on Redmi Note 2. However, when I am on landscape mode and I open the app switcher, it turns to portrait mode (pictures attached). Auto-rotate is turned on :) thanks

We still have to use 2 fingers to expand notifications, we're in 2016 seriously... I'm not blaming xiaomi EU, but miui devs ... (and we still have the same issues with notifications in general, sometimes they don't work as they should)
The ROM seems good, I didn't need to wipe anything on my redmi pro 3. It takes a lot of time on first boot and then a reboot is needed because there are touchscreen issues.
On the bottom left side of the lock screen you forgot to put the phone icon (on default theme, but it launches the phone app so it's ok) and also inside the phone app, when we want to access to "more settings" it vibrates whereas it shouldn't. And yellow pages don't work neither.

Anyway, thank you very much for your amazing work, keep going on

Mi8 for MiNotePro with Android 6.0?

I own a MiNotePro (LEO) 64GB.
So far quite satisfied with the phone as well as your ROM!
Thanks a lot for this!!
My question to the community or a Developer: In the new version Mi 8 for LEO Android 5.1 is based, can be expected in the future with the 6.0?
For the Mi3 / 4 it seems to work.

Greetings WaDiGaDi
