If TWRP cannot write on the partitions (and gives you errors written in red colour) I believe you're stuck until you do a Fastboot Flash of a stock version of MIUI as previously said. You're not going anywhere keep trying to flash a .zip file from TWRP if the partitions are messed up.
After you've gone back to stock (you choose, Global or China Developer) you flash again the TWRP then you put the .zip file and flash the Xiaomi.EU version.

This Update killed my Redmi Note 2.
It damaged Google Play Services and made most Apps crash completely at their start.
Phone restart didn't help either.

I had to rollback by backup for now.

There were no errors or warnings during the update process. Everything went like always.

To solve the problem when crash like that is to update Android System Web View and Google Play Services.
