Guys the same problem in this rom, mi5s i clean cache, dalvik, and data, but when installing says no md5 file found, zip file is corrupt.

I have exactly the same problem. This and the last weeks update dont work.

I'm trying to install directly from twrp, but is the zip file that says that is corrupt. I'm not the only guy because in the last rom a few have the same problem. I'm back with 7.6.8 until someone solve this problem

no problems here, the file is ok. did you install it with latest twrp? also try to disable the rom checks in twrp menu. mi5s 3/64

mi3W. On the last release of V8.5.2 appears there was wallpaper carousel error. Updating was with V8.2.1 by means of cleaning of cache and dalvik cache

Dear developers, this weekly rom on HM4X (Santoni) global version still lost band20! Same as a week ago, again have to downgrade to android 6.0 version! Hope you'll update in next week, else seemed to work ok (auto brightness seemed a bit improved). Thanks

I have a Redmi 4X global version (3/32 GB) and can confirm that LTE Band 20 is working with the current ROM. Regarding your previous post your device should be a Redmi 4X 2/16 GB. Are you absolutely sure that Xiaomi did release a global version Redmi 4X with "only" 2/16 GB and LTE Band 20 ? Maybe your finding may be due to a long time existing odd behaviour of previous ROMs that did show 4G on the display while actually being on GSM only as long as WLAN is activated (I am not sure many know/knew this).

Attached is the (almost) complete screenshot of a Redmi 4X 3/32 GB global version with the current xiaomi.eu dev ROM and also two screenshots of a second phone (Redmi 4X 3/32 GB global version) with MIUI 8.2 global stable (8.2.9, Android 6.0) installed showing 4G symbol while still on GSM only with WLAN activated.

• Auto-Brightness: works now, but about 30-50% to dark in general
• GPS: OK (I think with global stable 6.0 there were bit more chinese satellites, but not sure)
• MTP: OK
• SMS: OK
• Battery drain: OK (quite perfect)
• Battery charging: OK
• Camera: OK
• USB-Tethering: OK
• Set up personal Hotspot building ("mobile wlan hotspot" for tethering): Not OK !! (it worked with global stable 6.0 very nice, but now totally broken) (language active: german)

Can you try also Safetynet if it pass and Google Play is certified? I dont have that device so cant check..
For hotspot it may be your APN type issue.. try set default,dun

What do you mean ?
When I set up a mobile personal hotspot (with or without WPA2) on my redmi 4x it was seen and usable on my laptop before (global stable 6.x). But now it is not even come up as selectable. The redmi 4x is not set up any hotspot at the moment on 7.7.6 like before.
To connect to an other wlan hotspot seems possible, cause I see a lot.
