Terrible Audio Quality

So like many have heard, on stock MIUI ROMs, audio quality on this phone is quite bad. This is resolved by flashing AOSP/LineageOS based ROMs over at XDA. Problem is that the ROMs aren't as stable as MIUI. Has anyone looked into why MIUI ROMs have such terribad audio quality? I really want to use the EU ROM but I listen to .FLAC music all the time and it just doesnt sound as good.

I flashed this mod, as it brings it to the level of LOS. But I'm still unsatisfied with the DAC in this phone as it is far inferior to my OnePlus One.

Well the DAC in our phone is actually amazing. The S820/821 Aqstic sound processor is really good and the HTC10 really proves it. Running HalogenOS from XDA gave me amazing sound quality, a lot better than MIUI, even better than my OnePlus. I'll definitely try that mod though see how it fares
