my friend, can you give me an advice please on how to aply this update i have also a mi4c with :
android version 7.0 NRD90M
Miui version : MIUI by xiami.eu 8.5.1 Estable

and i would like to know if it's safe to install this by downloading the zip ? or do i have to do anything else before updating it ?

You've gotta be kidding... wrong place to make such requests. Try Xiaomi's official MIUI forums...

Hello, recently I bought an mi6 and want to flash the xiaomi.eu rom, but I'm kinda new to the miui world, so I don't know if I should install the 7.9.21/22 rom. I went to the official en.miui page and seen that for the mi6, the latest china dev rom is Version: 7.9.8(I've also read the miui forum for china dev v 7.9.21 changelog and they wrote that for the mi6 and some other phones the rom will be suspended due to system optimization). From what I read xiaomi.eu is based on china dev so, is version 7.9.21 ok to be flashed on the mi6 ? or should I wait for a version that china dev recommands for mi6 ?

With magisk ota is still there, you just have to flash magisk again after every update.
Split screen works only with Android 7 so it requires an Android update and xiaomi.eu can't do this so you need to ask in official forum

Not true.
Redmi 3S uses Snapdragon 430, and Snap 430 doesn't support 4K video, max 1080p.

Bug report: MI 5S PLUS, app autostart prevention doesn't work. Apps are autostarting even when inhibited.
It's been like this for 4-3 releases, even after clean installation.

Sadly, MIUI has become a sh*t of a SO lately. Tons of deal breaking bugs, crap battery life. It's even worse for kenzo, that isn't going to get Android Oreo at all and a stable Nougat probably never or at least not this year. Unlike Mi4c, a 1 year older phone that has been on 7.x for more than half a year and is also getting Nougat soon. kenzo is newer than libra, it looks more premium, it's in a league above mi4c and yet it's almost 2 android version below. And I never experienced the kind of issues I am with Redmi note 3 pro. Bunch of re***ds behind MIUI (not xiaomi.eu, which is simply a soft custom of miui). Ofc I'm talking about full installs, with proper wipes etc. etc. Done this for 2 years+, no problem until like 5-6 months ago. Compare the updates of nowadays MIUI ROMs with those of 2-3 years before. They are hillarious at best. They sound like update from alpha that should never been released in the first place, to beta. They are simply not working right. Can't even use my alarm if I don't keep 2 (TWO) alarms at 1 min interval from each other. No alarm ringing otherwise.

All bugs should be reported from clean installed system. Im having some problems from time to time and most of them are connected to user data.

Reinstalled system and all apps few updates ago and right now no problems with my Mi5 at all

I get folowing error for calendar on natrium with 7.9.21 after clean install. What I did: fastboot china dev -> install TWRP -> format data -> flash xiaomi.eu dev 7.9.21 via TWPR -> restore backup via Mi backup for call, contact, SMS and MMS, sistem launcher and data for colornotes.

Is this error for google calendar or xiaomi / MIUI calendar. I use google calendar.

I'm using Kenzo for more than 1 year now, and have been using xiaomi.eu dev rom since late Dec 2016, flashed weekly dev rom as they became available, no problem so far, never had to downgrade (well, i flashed 7.6.21 to 7.9.14 because the gps was not working in my house, but it turned out i need to be outside for the gps to work, so i flashed back to 7.9.21 and still using it).

Battery's time is good, usually 10 hour SOT on wifi without mobile data, with 3G mobile data SOT is about 8 hours, no game though, just browsing, email, chat..

One thing i really like to see is Miui 9 on Android 7, but it seems that this is not going to happens..

Sure i can flash other rom like Lineage os 14.x, but i prefer MIUI for the customizations, i said this based on my experience using lineage os 14,1 on my Samsung tablet note 8 (2012)..

In summary, so far i'm satisfied with my Kenzo using xiaomi.eu dev rom, everything is good..

i'm not using custom kernel or some heavy mods, the only tweak i use is the missing 4g fix + camera feats (http://en.miui.com/thread-472731-1-1.html)..

and i never clean flashed the roms, always dirty flash : download rom, boot to twrp, flash rom, flash that tweak above, clear dalvik/cache and reboot)

I just updated from after a half a year ago so many things changed... but why the feature of closing the soft keys is gone on MI MIX?!?!?! why I cant close them? I have keep them on? Why? Anyone knows how to fix this?
