I recommend that you rollback to 7.12.7 or wait and try the new version tomorrow. The 8.1.11 has many problems at the moment you will find so many errors that I already noticed the rollback.

I ported Global ROM's MiuiSystemUI.apk to Xiaomi.eu 8.1.11. I can confirm that they fixed the double notification icon bug there, as well as the "auto dismissal" of notifications.
I will be comparing a broken Global MiuiSystemUI.apk with this fixed one to find the source of the problem.

It was already previously discussed with ingbrzy and we agreed that using Global ROM's MiuiSystemUI.apk permanently is too risky as it could FC in certain version. Also, that would mean always using a week-old MiuiSystemUI.apk, which isn't a good option.

Based on my own test results, in order to work notification properly (same way as in Global builds) all below apks, jar should be replaced from Global build:
/system/framework/framework.jar
/system/framework/framework-res.apk
/system/priv-app/DownloadProvider.apk
/system/priv-app/DownloadProviderUI.apk
/system/priv-app/MiuiSystemUI.apk
The only problem is it would be huge work and effort to make this modding in all builds every week...imho would be easier to use global build as base but it would have some disadvantage as well...

Nah, I just took 3 files from framework.jar, a few files from framework-res.apk and the whole MiuiSystemUI.apk.
That's all I had to transplant to my ROM. I just slightly patched framework.jar and framework-res.apk.
No. China and Global not work on "N" anymore. They release and test only on O roms.@ ingbrzy any chance for a nougat update for mi mix2 before oreo? Need a fix badly
