Hi, since 1 or 2 updates ago I've been having problems with the MI REMOTE app. After updating it doesn't work properly, unbinds my Mi Account, doesn't let me pair new devices.. So what Ihave to do is uninstall with root uninstaller, erease every single archive (from System and data) hide some missing unereasable thing and only then, installing a backup apk I have from it (if not, I get "Package seems to be corrupted").

It's really annoying and it's the first time I have an issue like this one.

Is anyone else having the same problem? Any tips on how to definitely end whit it?

I guess I am making a stupid question, but I need to be sure about this: I have Redmi note 4 global version. I have installed the new version, and so far everything seems to work fine. The thing is that since some time ago, I have twrp red wolf instead of the regular twrp on my phone. Does it make any difference? I mean, I guess installing with red wolf doesn't make any difference in terms of performance of the rom, does it? Thanks for your great work!

@graw2 I ihave nstalled mod HZQ MiuiSystemUI MI5Global 8.2.1 I like this more than default in the rom. The notifications are more informative. Can you add it next realize? tnx.

1. Yes. It takes more space (odexed rom), but having less free RAM is NOT true
Even if more space is taken by system files, there is plenty of space left (at least for MI6 oreo)

2. What Chinese apps are you talking about? There are some Xiaomi apps and Google apps on China Global Dev Rom (don't like that they have included in latest builds Microsoft apps and Facebook - don't use any of them, but can be uninstalled)

3. GPS works fine.
ROM is smooth and no issues with fast charging

Just autorise localization in settings/installed application/weather

It`s not about localization, in this weeks beta(also on global) the weather app requires permissions for phone ID and storage.
No idea why but if denied you cannot use the app, they are mandatory.
Maybe someone with more knowledge would comment why was this change implemented

It's a subjective point, your WiFi might not be same as another persons. Do you experience issues on other devices or just the Note 3?

I have also Mi Note 3, no problems with wifi, not problems with face unlock, finally a good weekly version since Christmas Thanks for your work.

Use another weather app. Screw the bundled one, its forecasts aren't that good anyway (at least here in Italy)

Updated Mi Mix1 directly from 7.12.21 via settings - "choose update package" after manual download, no special wiping or other precautions.

Everything seems to working fine, no problems so far.

Full screen guestures I find quite intuitive, very nice.

Cannot test all the notification oddities that have been as this is not my primary phone, yet.

Antivirus updates work, no problem there.

Hi. There is an issue in the cast feature in the gallery. It's impossible to cast my Mi5 on my TV using Mi Box. Everything is ok if I use Google photos instead of the Gallery.
