Mi 6 updated from dec2017 to this new: is quite ok (few app crashes) ... but BIG problem with mobile contactless payments:

tried to check/modify auth on the settings (set to all as requested on the Millenniun Bank site: https://www.bankmillennium.pl/elect...nking/mobile-application-individuals-business) but still not ok

Anyone has tried (and maybe the solution)?

I' sad: it was a really "new" cool stuff !!

This is an ancient secret thingy, known only to the chosen few initiated ones.

I found it quite by accident in my Doogee Y100 Pro running Android 5 about 2 years ago, it's not MIUI specific.

You can't get to it any other way than through the volume button.

Pre-Oreo ROMs use Enforcing mode both on boot and afterwards.
Oreo ROMs currently have to boot on Permissive and then it's set to Enforcing, thus it is safe and passes SafetyNet.

Installed yesterday on Mi6, coming from last Android 7 xiaomi.eu version.
I did a full wipe and a format data for having a more clean situation.

All is working good.

Thank You so much for your answer. Even with Xiaomi making things harder; You keep doing a great work to community. I thought this was the end of custom roms like this one(which I use and preferer).

Yes, I also think so since when I go to pay I can hear a beep, bot on the phone and on the payment system !

.. but for me is a BIG problem this with mobile contactless payments because I was using it very often now:

After installed Oreo I also had to reinstall the app and choose the Bank instead of Android Pay


Anyone has updated to Oreo and has tried it (and maybe has a solution) ?

The NFC payments in Mi6 work for me with the following steps ...

1- Settings: NFC (on), selected HCE Wallet and touch and pay selected app pay
2- Permissions: app pay permission to access NFC hardware

If root ...
3- Magisk: ctsProfile and basicIntegrity true and Magisk Hide select app pay
4- Settings: Developer Options (activate and deactivate later)

I can confirm this, too! My MiNote3 has 8.2.1 and (of course) Nougat, but the setting has disappeared. It was there in the last version I had, from January, so I know how to display and use it - it just isn't there anymore.
