I Can confirm that both auto brightness and alarm work fine. And alarm stops when swipe up on my Mi 8 SE

Question: Can you use the Global Development Rom for the Redmi 5 Plus (HM5Plus), because the China ROM that you use here is still Android 7.1 and the global already has Android 8.1?. Here the links:

No have the same issue on Mi Note 3, try by wiping the cash on recovery.

Those two errors are normal.

Do you have Bluetooth error?
I am in error, when connecting Bluetooth headset, it will be disconnected and reconnect. Continuously so.

Same here. Auto brightness work but has bug. It auto goes to min brightness sometime
And camera in manual mode, iso setting not work
