Is anyone experiencing battery drain issues on MI8 with 10.1.2.0? Can't figure out what's the problem. With the stock ROM I used to stand a full day with single charge, no issues till mid morning next day. With this one I hardly reach a full day..

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem on my Mi8. Battery is draining much faster on this pie stable ROM. I can't find the reason for drain. My phone isn't rooted because of my banking apps and therefore I can't provide good enough information on wakelocks. All I can see both usage and standby drain battery quicker, and I also had few signal drops at places where signal should be ok.
Maybe the problem is in dirty flash. I will try clean flash this weekend if I find the time.
This doesn't mean I'm complaining by any means. The phone works just fine, but it needs more juice. I'm just sharing my experience.

Hi, this is a Pie based rom right? So it means I can install it over an AOSP pie based rom with no problems?
Do this stable version includes hide notch option?

I just finish to install miui 10.0.1.0 in my MI8 SE but after 30 minutes, I see the loading screen stucked. I Tried to reinstall also, but I have the same problem.

What can I do?

??? Help please or I will have to return back to the shop.... :/

Go to twrp and format data (confirm by typing yes). Data will be lost.

I think it was what I did when I installed the rom. I had the same problem with boot loop. After formating data, you will have to copy again the rom into internal memory of the phone. For this, you just have to connect the phone to your computer, it will appear in "My Computer".

Please, can you tell me if the stable solves the problems of navigation with Google Maps?

MI 8 (dipper) works great!
*no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* also works after patching the fix.
I format data and do a clean flash, no power drain found.

Found two files for MI8 on STABLE Link at sourceforge:
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI8_V10.1.2.0.PEACNFI_v10-9.zip (2018-12-11)

and on the Top, the "Download Latest Version" file:
xiaomi.eu_multi_MI8_8.12.13_v10-9.zip

Are both files STABLE releases?

Ehy thank a lot!!! I just figured out!

I wipe data through Twrp with the WIPE DATA button, then I reboot in recovery mode and copy another time file of MIUI10 inside the phone.
Then I perform a reinstall of the ROM and it works!!!

Omg finally I can use my new Mi8 SE! Thanks a lot guys!

I think it's better to specify the passage to the first page to solve that bad situation of boot loop, isn't it?

Can a moderator edit the first page?

Thanks a lot anyway

Hello
I am facing a problem after update to the new miui V10.0.3.0.ODCCNFH in mi6x when I flash magisk and enable camera2api the phone works fine but if I restart the phone the phone will not boot up the phone can ring after the call but you can't answer you can use only the shutdown control panel of the phone.
Please anyone knows how to solve this because I want to use *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum*.
Thanks
PS: Sorry for my English

Nothing at all, I have to say that this is the best MIUI based ROM ever.

Since unplugged 3 days and 11.5 hours ago the battery went down only to 44% with 3.5h of SoT. It's. Just. Amazing.

Oh, forgot to update the post - so the final figures:
- 5 days 12 hours since unplugged from charger (100% to 4%)
- 6h SoT with my mixed usage pattern (forum app, Gmail, Via & Chrome, Telegram, FB messenger, VLC, no hard gaming)
- idle drain was 0.26%/h
- 6h of awake state during this whole period
- CPU: 2GHz 1h 41m; 1.4GHz: 52m; 652Mhz: 9h 44m; other freqs were between 2..15 mins
- WiFi 2.4GHz + 3G (continuously & alternately)
- sync always on
- brightness was fix 40%
- The only "extraordinary" thing I did to tune the ROM's operations was: I disabled ZRAM with Magisk 18 + Swaptorpedo module (IMHO it's a bad idea to use such a feature when RAM is more than 2GB, especially if you consider MIUI's quite aggressive RAM management (that is waste of money: IMHO free RAM is wasted and thus it's wasted money, this is not Windows)).

IMHO these figures are quite good! I really tip my hat to you!

1. format data via twrp and reboot to recovery
2. flash xiaomi.eu_multi_MI8_V10.1.2.0.PEACNFI_v10-9

no power drain found

Did you format data (need to type "yes" in twrp) before flashing?
