So I could read somewhere here in the forum that the Global EU should be more stable. My girlfriend had the Mix2S a good six months with the Global Rom of MIUI in use and she was satisfied. From about the end of November (possibly after an update she said) she was often not reachable, did not hear it ring, in short the phone "had something". So I made myself smart and flashed her the last "global eu". Since then these problems with the notification tones and also the phone does work not good :(
The Mi8 Explorer Edition has nearly exactly the same problem (except the phone probs of the Mix2s). The mix2s has cost 760 €, the Mi8 just over 600. In the latter I had 4 weeks !!! wait for it to flash! It's enough for me now, I did full wipe and the whole thing. My next phone will not be Xiaomi anymore! So I can not even sell it :(
I've never heard that a "weekly" should be bugfier than a "stable" version but you do not learn.
@Accelerator which version exactly did u flash on Mix 2s?
Edit: and should I try to flash an older "oreo" stable version instead of "pie"?
We want a stable sys, better stable oreo than unstable pie ...

So, concerning the MIX 2s with which we got phone problems since about middle of november, the reason of all "flash procedures". I flashed the day before yesterday the weekly Rom and everything worked fine (notification sounds was the problem with the stable and phone probs again) EXCEPT the phone problems. One hears only a ticked off with dropouts and is sometimes unreachable from the other side ... on the MIX 2s the other was good to hear. This problems are not always but very often. We tried several times another simcard from another provider - same problem. Tried to give the simcard into another slot - same problem. So I can only suggest a hardwareproblem after 3 different Roms.
What are your experiences with the warranty at Aliexpress (MI Global Store)? Bought the Mix 2s in April 2018 and rembember 1 year warranty...

v10.2 STABLE working great on my Mi Max 3! Magisk and *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* mod are working too! This EU ROM is very good :)

a curiosity, but in the xiaomi.eu rom updates for system applications are there? For example browser, weather, security, etc. are updates coming out?

Hello friends. I want my weather app to be automatically update the weather every hour. Is it possible?

Redmi pro 3/64gb using 10.2 is extremely slow. Even the unlock takes 2 seconds (pressing the power no reaction). Random lags when scrolling, battery drain.
Installed twice, once as an upgrade from 10.1 and second time after full wipe, same results. Heading back for 10.1.

Installed last stable MIUIv10.2 in Redmi Note 5 (Whyred), the update is great! Any "micro-lag" that was present while using gesture-control going from an app to multi-task screen/homescreen has disappeared, the feeling of fluidity is total! It's like as if the phone had risen one step in its range (talking about performance).

The "return to last app" gesture was refined, we can do it much faster, is more sensible and intuitive.

Please remember to reboot the phone after the first boot post-update, also you have to reboot it again after you install Magisk (if you do) or the phone will be slow.

Great work, thank you.
