Big props to the developers of this ROM. It had been so long since I'd used it that I'd forgotten how much better it is than the stock ROM, particularly in getting timely notifications (and using correct notification channels for silent notifications). How do you guys manage to make the notifications work so much better than Xiaomi themselves?

Mate, I don't remember us touching anything related to notifications. :D

Do you do something about the memory / battery optimization then? Something that would reduce the chance of notifying apps being killed? Because my email notifications in particular were almost ALWAYS late, if I got them at all, when I was using the stock MIUI ROM.

I have Xiaomi mi Note 10 and I moved Xiaomi.eu 20.12.9 to rom stable 12.1.5 because third Notch option disappear. Have new roms this option??

From what I see in the graph it seems like its far from off. How can it be off and connect to a cellular network and to google play services? Check at what time the screen is on. A few senarios (it may also be a combination of them):
1)The power off schedule is glitched and doesnt turn the device off.
2)You have set the device to try to connect to 2g or 3g network instead of 4g. This may seem to save power, but if the signal it recieves is too low, it may waste more power while connected to the network.
3)The phone reboots itself for some reason during night.
4)The graph has an issue. Look, it consumed about 20% and around 10% was the cellular network, which says it was around 9mah. So, if 10% translates to 9mah then your phone has a battery of about 90mah, which seems impossible :emoji_laughing:. Check the battery with another app too, like gsm battery monitor.
Thank you Blastboom Strice for your analysis and your suggestions. This morning a had a ~10% drain at switch on. For control I installed the gsm battery monitor. My reflections to your points below:
1. the phone was off according to gsm battery monitor
2. both networks set to 4g preferred
3. see pt. 1
4. I agree with you in that. I am checking the battery graph frequently and sure until the 21.4.7/8 version there was no such a drain.
I am still curious about the problem. The battery should drain some during off status, but 10 - 20% is too much in my opinion. I do not think it is hardware related. There might be a problem with the software or with the measurement/graph.

hello
I went from stable to weekly, but I didn't format data so I didn't have to reinstall all the apps, did I get it wrong?
It is what is advised and recommended. But if you managed to keep all of your apps and data and files, and you are not having any problems, then great :D

Hmm, try to leave the phone on today. Then from gsm check the temperature of the device during the night. Also, is it possible that the boot up consumes that much battery? Ah and try to create the schedule you use again.

If you go from Stable to Weekly and manage to boot to system without formatting data, then you should be good to go.
However, just for your information, when going from Weekly to Stable, even if you manage to boot, you'll most likely have apps/services/providers crash in the foreground or the background which will lead to instability and battery drain.

If you start to have odd things happen, you have the option to do a Factory reset. If done from within TWRP, you should keep all of your files.
From TWRP FAQs:
"If you're installing a nightly update, then oftentimes you don't need to wipe anything at all. However, if you encounter strange behavior, then you may want to consider performing a factory reset."

Weird bug, status bar disappeared.

Thanks to Devs for another release... but I'm getting significant battery drain on my Mi11. Any way to fix this?

Nope. Never even looked for that.

Was entirely removed by Xiaomi. Probably has something to do with the new System UI they are using on Weeklies.

For 3gb users camera crachs after 5 seconds

For 4gb you can't take pics in pro mode when you set the shutter speed to 1 or higher

Other than that the rom is really smooth you can use nexus kernel with it it's really great

thanks for the feedback
