Good afternoon guys :)
i currently am on MI 11 weekly 21.3.17 (12.5)
can i directly flash latest weekly which is now 12.6?
Is TWRP safer/better method right now than fastboot flashing for mi11?
Is OTA working for the rom? (sorry if this has been already asked)

Thanks again!
Marco

Oi, you deleted some important apps. It's ~a basic rule (for me at least) to know what I do before I make a step and know if it can be reversed.
You see, you should search what apps to delete before you do that.

rm -rf $1/data-app/*
It probably deleted important data of almost every (system) app.

rm -rf $1/app/cit removed an app to check if your phone functions correctly, big mistake.

rm -rf $1/app/CameraTools might deleted your camera.

rm -rf $1/app/Joyose is unknown app, so it may was important.

rm -rf $1/app/MiuiBugReport was probably used to make debug logs.

rm -rf $1/app/Stk I think this was important too

rm -rf $1/app/Updater yeah, it was the updater app. This might be why you cant see the info.

rm -rf $1/app/wps-lite nice utility to read documents

rm -rf $1/priv-app/Backup well, probably not native backup option for you anymore

rm -rf $1/priv-app/MiMover sounds important

rm -rf $1/priv-app/MiRecycle might be important

rm -rf $1/priv-app/MiService might be important

rm -rf $1/priv-app/Provision probably important

rm -rf $1/priv-app/Weather might be used in weather wallpapers

rm -rf $1/product/priv-app/Velvet unkown, maybe important.

rm -rf $1/system_ext/app/FM why the fm app..

And you can take logs with adb or root, just search it up. It seems to me that you removed to many important things from your phone, so it might cayse bigger issues in the future. Also it probably invalidates any bug you find.

PS. Took me a while to understand that by bruh you probably mean brother. :emoji_laughing:

But the same I removed apps on build 21.5.20 and earlier builds still show full info. Only not show on later builds.

And how many times do you need to be told that things changed?
If not why els is it a new build, or ROM or version?
Just because it worked in previous builds doesn't mean it will still work.

Being unable to delete system apps is not "a problem", it's something called "dynamic partitions", do some homework.
Like I said: off topic conversations elsewhere, and if you remove any system app, you void the right to report any bugs on this forum.
People break the ROM and then come here crying, this has to stop.
Fine, thanks in advance, Esberg.

I always recommend to use this tool kit to delete unwanted apps: https://github.com/Szaki/XiaomiADBFastbootTools

It offers a proposal list with all apps which can be deleted without any risk. Everything what was deleted can even be restored.

I am not sure you understood the matter in object. Read the related posts above your.

It's related to what @Ken Hao said - he deleted apps he should not have deleted and this tool is a more secure way to know what can be deleted without any risk...

See post #273
But these are BETA ROMs - they are changing, being fixed and tweaked all the time. Working on feedback from us. The ROMs are already de-bloated, with a large number of extra features - and therefore should be treated with respect, and not messed around with. We simply do not know how different apps interact with each other, especially system apps.

Of course you're right - it's a bit another thing than with a stock ROM. But at least it's much more secure than wildly manually deleting apps. But in every case, it should be used with care, too.

At least om my Mi 9T (also Xiaomi.eu 21.6.9), there is no such folder:
/system/data-app
hence removing 'everything' from that folder would not affect anything at all

Stk = SIM Toolkit, tool to manage some services on the SIM card, but most operators do not use that anymore (I regularly debloat STK on various my phones for years and never had any problem)

MiMover is a tool to move data from one Xiaomi phone to another (simple googling can help), no problem to debloat if transferring data is not needed

Velvet refers to the preinstalled Google Assistant, it can be safely debloated if not using GAssist

For the matter of fact I would NEVER debloat Updater or Provision (neither Camera - but he probably uses Google substitute instead, nor Backup, Weather, FM, EMail - because I regularly use all those apps), but now I was really CURIOUS, I did systemlessly debloat practically all from his list and still cannot obtain any similar mess on my My Device.
I'm suspicious that @Ken Hao messed up more things, maybe props, settings global or something

PS: Few (more) system apps/services that can be safely debloated:
EasterEgg
CatchLog
Traceur
GoogleFeedback
GooglePartnerSetup
BookmarkProvider

as well as apps like:
AndroidAutoStub
Lens
Health
...
if not using them

Mi 9T Pro: Did anyone else notice that the phone's screen is being awoken on every notification? I noticed this new behavior when WhatsApp suddenly woke my screen up.

Is that normal?

Does anybody have problem with turbo charging ? Im using Poco f2 pro. It was slow and overheat compare with my previous global rom (12.2.6)

Do you have this wallpaper and personalisation menu? I only have themes and wallpaper as separate settings.

Might the reason be that for some reason, I installed the APK for the system app updater and it installed the global themes app? Probably. Why was there no system app updater before? And how can I get back to the original themes menu?
Nevermind, I fixed it by uninstalling the updates of themes and wallpaper. Also, I uninstalled the updater.

Yup, System App Updater auto-updates apps, and it's not appropriate for use on our ROMs.
Alright. Also thinking about customisation, could you provide an option to use the modern stock icons, like a preinstalled icon pack or something? I'd really love to have newer icons, especially Google maps.

A question if I can, the sunset/sunrise for Dark Mode take into account you local time? I saw they said it was fixed but Mine still turns to night too early.
It does change the screen during the day sunrise- noon- afternoon- sunset just not at the right time.
