A small request. Can the developer team retain the camera modes of CN rom on xiaomi eu rom? Apparently cn rom have options to take fun pictures but it was taken out and align to global rom.
Damn, they have taken out the option to take fun pictures - wow this is harsh... So only sad and desperate pictures it is then for Global.

Using the xiaomi.eu Miui 12 for redmi note 8, but the simcard network setting only have three choices: Prefer LTE, Prefer 3G, 2G only, previous version xiaomi.eu Miui 11 has setting for 4G only, because wanna to lock the simcard to use 4G only network signal, if choosing Prefer LTE (xiaomi.eu Miui 12) and if the 4G signal is weak signal and prefer LTE will change the signal to connect to 3G , which isn't what I want, I would be grateful, if there is a way to change xiaomi.eu Miui 12 (for redmi note 8 ginkgo) simcard setting just like the previous xiaomi.eu Miui 11 has a lot of choices of network setting? TQ

No such option. Showing me our mod for MIUI 11 is irrelevant, we don't change network types anymore. Request features from Xiaomi directly.

Thanks for new releases and the great job as usual.

Mi10 here.
I jumped from 12.2.2.7 to lastest one 12.5.5. via new twrp. (Slacker yeh)
I noticed an increased battery drain, even in standby or at night.

Safetynet, GPay and other bank stuffs ok.
No issues with Bluetooth and various earbuds at first use.

So you dont need magisk in order to successfully use Gpay etc. ?

Great job !!!!

That menu is in:
Settings-> My device-> All specs -> Tapping a lot Internal storage , and arrive in menu, tap one of Phone information. It works on eudev, but after out from menu, will be reset to default.

may i respectfully ask why?
it was always communicated that the issue is related to the weekly being newer than stable
but 12.5 is indeed newer than 12.1
thanks for explaining as format data will imply a huge reinstallation work

Hi all,

I switched from a 9se to a m10t pro. Now I am missing the miui dialer app and call recording functions. At the 9se I had installed the indonesian rom. But now on the m10t I am willing to try the Xiaomi EU rom. But are three any big differences? And is it possible to have the normal update procedure at the phone itself, when there are updates? (Just like the standard update of the current software to 12.5 without using twrp etc).

Thanks in advance, kind regards

Because not everything is "newer" at least version-wise. You probably won't have telephony working if you don't.
Or the short answer: just follow the requirement.

There is an updater application that will download the ROM, and restart to TWRP to automatically install it, but you should be ready to do a manual install.

Device name and ROM version?

Possible solution:

Go in phone's settings => "Apps" => "Dual apps" => Click the settings icon in the top right corner -> "Delete dual apps' accounts"

Your device will automatically reboot and should work without issue now.

:)
Device: Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 (Sunny) ROM version: xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote10_V12.0.11.0.RKGMIXM_v12-11.zip

I do not have dual application accounts, so that option you mention does not come out either, I went to check but it is not found.

Also thank you very much for your answer, I appreciate your help

Mi max 3 12.5 rom has a homescreen bug
the wallpaper is always black cant be changed
even changing the whole theme does nothing it still is black

Is a version >12.5.7 for the Mi 11 Ultra in the works currently or are you guys waiting for an even newer version to be released by Official MIUI first? Only asking because there's some bugs/issues prior to 12.5.8 that results in heating issues which I am currently mitigating by reducing clock speeds.

I've a Mi 11 Ultra with the latest 12.5.7 xiaomi.eu. How do I get rid of a duplicate DCIM folder? If i open a file manager, it shows 2 "DCIM" folder: "DCIM" and "dcim". It appears the second one is something like a link to the first one. If i delete a file on one folder, it deletes files on the other one too. Thanks for your help.

Xiaomi.eu doesn't create MIUI ROMs from scratch, Stable ROMs by Xiaomi.eu are always based on Official ROMs by Xiaomi. ;)

It's a bug of the Xiaomi file manager app, you can use another file manager app until it's fixed (after a ROM update). ;)

Yeah, I figured that was already clear and implied. To make my previous post clearer. Is a rom based off 12.5.8 or higher being worked on my the Miui.eu team?

Xiaomi didn't release 12.5.8.0 yet, so Xiaomi.eu can't do anything. I don't know how to be more clear... ^^
