did you disable or removed the modules before magisk root? perhaps they are not compatible. you can try the alpha versions from magisk as well…

Here are some download links for the alpha release of magisk…

Bro, I took the test to be sure. I installed the rom with the formatting of the device and after that, I managed to root it with the official magisk. I believe it's because I didn't uninstall Magisk before updating the rom. So it caused some problem releasing root in the updated version. Thanks for helping me.

Questions to the Xiaomi Mi11 (venus) People
Did you directly flash via fastboot and coming from A11?
Did you dirty flash or clean flash?
What bugs do you have till now? (and pls tell me if dirty or clean flash) Would you update again to A12 atm?
Main issue here :
Camera and screenshot/screen recorder all not working...
Dont know where the issue is at as some other users didnt report those...

i dirty flashed from A11 --> A12
themes works for me, memory extension options exits
the only bug i got is in some cases animation is laggy(frame drop)
ex: speedtest (after cick "GO")

Succesfull dirty flash mi11 lite 5g Renoir from last android 11 weekly

Only problem is that my banking app (abnamro for the Dutch under us) won't start. Creditcard app and such work
Anyone else the same experience

Also experiencing some VPN problems (won't Setup)
But doing a Google search it's a android 12 beta 4 broad problem
I flashed Renoir with wipe. Many issues with permissions, some applications can't handle with storage normally. Issues with pdf processing, information saving and sharing posts in telegram. Some bank applications can't start, but some working. Well, it's very inferior firmware, A12 need to be adjusted.

As there will be no more weekly updates from the end of November for my K20Pro (Raphael), I'm considering moving to stable from this weekly.
Can someone tell me:
1. Is it worthy to try dirty flash?
2. In case I have to format the data partition, should I remove the encryption and password first? If so, is there any decent procedure/guide?
3. Any other suggestions from more experienced users?

cheers,
See for the similar case (davinci, K20):
I have also Mi 9T and I switched two or so months from weeklies (after following them for more than half a year) to Stable

Reason - weeklies were no more bringing any valuable update to davinci for me (to the contrary, with every new one there was some small glitch here or there). More important - there were no more Security patch updates for davinci, actually Stable has newer Security patch (Jul, 1) than weeklies

You don't need to Format Data

Yes, you will downgrade, but wirhout formatting you will NOT LOOSE any data (I didn't loose absolutely anything, user apps, settings, photos or documents)

But I did the following before flashing the Stable:
- wiped Dalwik and Cache
- wiped /data/system/package_cache

However, you may encounter problems with some apps.
If I recall - it was Galery.
Downgrading MIUI from Weekly 12.5.6 to Stable 12.5.1 caused downgrading the built-in Gallery app but they have dofferent databases format or so, and the downgraded Gallery was crashing for me

Then I simply deleted Cache and Data for Gallery from Settings/Apps, reopened the Gallery and it started to rebuild database - it took a while but after that Gallery works perfectly.
And I did not loose any picture with that (pictures are on Internal memory), Gallery just had to index them and prepare thumbnails for faster browsing through your photos

If you encounter a similar problem with another system app (if it was updated with your recent weeklies), try the same

Do the math, it's not complicated...
If the current camera blobs from Stable Global (Android 11) don't work on recent Weeklies (also Android 11), so why would they work with an even newer camera firmware and libraries that would arrive with Android 12? Zero chance.

When asked for predictions usually your answer is 'I don't have a crystal ball'... But suddenly you expect users to know the process how you're doctoring ROMs? Well, we don't, so thanks for the prediction. How probable is a stable based on 12.6 so we get a good update path?

Mi 11 Venus
Dirty flash from latest A11 to 21.10.27 and at friday to 21.11.3

Since this release I have high battery draining. I lost 30% over night. In the battery app is the "Display" and "standby" the highest value of battery draining.
Any idea to fix this issue?

Regards

I don't understand what is not obvious in Igor Eisberg post. They already explained many times that the blobs from old stable A11 won't work with the recent A11 weeklies, so obviously they won't work with the A12 weeklies either.
It is not a prediction at this level, just logic.

I did a dirty flash from A11 to A12, everything went fine and everything is working fine. Of course, there are some small bugs, but nothing to worry about

It's not a prediction, it's your inability to use the search function. When I said "do the math", I assumed that you already know how Mi 10T Pro was even supported on our Weeklies when China ROM has no support for it at all. If you don't already know, well, that isn't my problem. I've already done the explanation part multiple times on the forum.

Exactly. Don't see why people expect the explanation to be copy-pasted to them every time it's asked, as if I'm some kind of auto-answering bot.

Honestly, I think you just need the install the stable ROM for your Mi 10T Pro. Weekly only exists thanks to the work of Xiaomi.eu, and current stable modules from Xiaomi are not compatible.
Ok, I will do that. thx for the advice

Cod mobile crashes on startup, any suggestion? I also hided magisk, and I gave all permissions to the game, but still nothing.

Configure "MagiskHide" + Delete "TWRP" folder located in the root of the internal storage of your device (if exists). ;)

I did what you said but still nothing, plus I noticed that also Pubg can't access internal storage even giving permissions to it
