I didnt make nandroid back before your last fix so if I applied this new fix over the last one would that cause any problems?

Thanks for the update. After applying the previous mod I got a strange thing. Suddenly something ate 29mb of the internal storage. It wasn't an app - checked it (Opera Mobile likes to grow up to 20mb in data). I couldn't do anything - all syncs were down, Facebook and twitter were crashing. Glad I made the backup just before flashing. Reverted to it and it all works fine. Can't think what could it be..

BTW Sorry for a newb question - why all mods need to be updated with the new versions? Some part of ROM's code is being seriously changed each time or..?

Andy. If you you could add battery top bar color to this menu , It'll be awesome.

is this project still alive ?
disabling the wallpaper scorlling on launcher would be awsome to add :)
thnx !

forgot to make a backup...any way to disable the overscroll effect...just want the extended settings...patched with overscroll now wnt to revert back... :-(

Sent from my I897 using the miuiandroid.com forum app

Take the original /system/framework/framework.jar from the rom's ZIP and put it on the MOD's ZIP. Then flash it.

Hi..This project is very much alive.. I'm currently adding the ability to hide the Carrier, that should be ready for release on Friday..
I'll look in to your suggestion but as it involves yet another apk file it might make supporting this mod each week more difficult..

last thing i want is to make stuff difficult your doing an awsome job
the MIUI-AutoModder-V0.1a by roenano thnx to him disables the wallpaper scrolling flawlessly
i just thought having all mods in one can be easier removing carrier name would be perfect i am always using 3rd party app for that so built in is always better
thnx allot for all man

OP updated with the latest version (1.7.8)
The Mod now indudes the ability to hide the Carrier. Hope you like it. If you find any issue just let me know.
I've dropped the Overscroll Mod for now. It needs some more work before being unleashed on the World )

Thanks! I was waiting to update until this came out ;)

Guys it works good for you ?
Here in personal tab in setting menus doesn't work ! Like contacts picture or theme manager and others.
Also except topbar battery doesn't show anything. For example if set it on graphical.

the same goes for me

For all those with problems, just re-flash the deodexed and engpack, it will revert back to stock MIUI.
I'm sure Andy will look at it and fix it.

For those with problems, just push the settings.apk and systemui.apk from the deodexed to your system folder (if your comfortable in doing so that is).

The two files are found in the following path:
miuiandroid-1.7.8_N1-EN-PACK1_2.3.4.zip\system\app

Pull the two files and drop them into your platform-tools folder
then open cmd at that location

adb remount
adb push Settings.apk /system/app/Settings.apk
adb push SystemUI.apk /system/app/SystemUI.apk

From here you can either restart the phone, or under personal settings, i toggled the 'enable custom toggles' which restarts the status bar to apply the custom toggle setting.

Then when he gets it sorted out, just go forward like you've done nothing as your back to stock after this.

On 1.7.8 for the Samsung Captivate.

I Installed 1.7.8 .zip through CWM just like 1.7.1 and it didn't work. It hid my clock but also hid my battery icon. It also made the 'themes' link from the settings menu unacceptable. Had to re-flash MIUI.

So at least for now... NOT working on the Samsung Captivate.

Epic sadface.

I'm on Nexus S with latest Miui release and EN language pack (1.7.8). After flashing the 1.7.8, this mod is not working (do not have toggles in date-time, battery style...).

Best regards.

Hi Guys.

Sorry for all the issues. This was a really weird one.. It was working without a hitch on my phone but when I flashed the uploaded zip everything turned to c***!!!
I decompiled everything and compared with my working files but could find no differences..
Anyway, serveral hours of swearing later I decided to start again from scratch, adding the carrier toggle to the datetime settings instead. I've flashed the uploaded zip and it works!! I know it's not logical to have the Carrier Toggle in the datetime settings but if it works then I hope you can live with that??

The OP has been updated with the latest version. As usual, if you have any issues you know what to do...

I think you have to manually mount system on your device before flashing? Re-Download the mod before flashing though as it's been updated..

What do you mean with "manually mount system on your device before flashing" ? (sorry if i make mistakes, i'm french...)
Should i re-flash the 1.7.8 miui, then download your mod, and install it ?

In the Recovery Menu go to
-Mounts and Storage
You should then see an option to mount /system
Click on that before you flash this mod.

There is no need to re-flash 1.7.8. Just download this mod, mount system then flash.

Bon Chance
